How do I ban users from bidding? eBay couldn't possibly make this option more difficult to find. -
Nasty email sent. What a prick!

All you're doing there is letting EVERYONE know how much you're willing to pay (unlike a real auction). Its also said time and time again that this is not a wise course of action since all you're doing is guaranteeing that people will chip away at your bid until they with outbid you by some measley amount (again unlike a real auction) OR simply max your bid out. And someone outbidding you by .50 cents on an item would also normally entice you to bid another buck (again...something in a real auction)No...if you've ever used ebay you know that's probablly the WORST way to bid.
Regardless of whether you bid on the first day or in the closing seconds, if someone bids higher you lose the auction. IF you know the maximum you're willing to pay it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter whether you're outbid by some measley amount or by hundreds of dollars the end result is still the same. IF you have a max dollar amount in your head and you are sticking to it, you either win or lose the auction depending on how much the other bidders have bid. It doesn't matter if they have 3 days to chip away as you put it, or one last second snipe. The end result is always the same.
I guess you've never had a shill bidder run you up to your max bid right away then, have you? Sniping solves that.

It would certainly increase the length of many auctions. Therefore, ebay would get even slower due to the greater volume of open auctions, not to mention their increase in cost for hosting (which they would no doubt pass along to everybody). Also, how would you like ebay dynamically increasing your fees based on however long the auction ends up lasting? (as opposed to the original 7 day listing fee)
No thanks.

Looks like we're waiting the winter out.

The only two text variations I show are in the end label. One has orange text, the other is yellow.
-
I have six variations of this label, and there might be more.

Crunchy can give you a better idea as he is really into the label variations and probably has them all.I wish!
The biggest problem is just knowing whether or not a particular re-release label even exists. We'd speculated for a while that many titles were indeed re-released, but using NOS Atari Inc. labels. This was confirmed when we found later open-style Combat cartridges with old labels. Some, like Warlords & Star Raiders take a really keen eye to find, as they're virtually identical to the Atari Inc. labels.
A few I'm still hunting:
3-D Tic Tac Toe '86 picture (controller text tape)
Bowling '86 picture (controller text omitted)
Indy 500 picture '86 (controller text tape)
Maze Craze picture (any re-release)
Outlaw picture (any re-release)
. . .and, of course anything I don't already have that I didn't know existed.

Does the Jungle Hunt have the "i" in "Atari corp."? I can't quite see from the pic if it's there or not. (Yes, there are some that are misspelled Atar Corp)

Neither format is enough of an improvement over DVD for me to even care. DVD only took off the way it did due to being such a quantum leap better than VHS. Neither of these formats come close to that kind of improvement, thus, nobody is going to notice them unless the DVD format is dumped entirely.
To me, it's the same old thing these companies have been doing for years - coming up with the "new standard" for no other reason than to make us be even more of a consumer than we already are by replacing what we're currently using. (LP - 8track - cassette - CD)

Are any of them grey Atari, Corp. labels?Yes, please check to see if any are Atari Corp gray labels.
