Just a guess, but with the Coleco games, I'd say Atari picked up the rights after Coleco got out of video games.

More than the date, it had green text rather than yellow and is Atari Inc. instead of Atari Corp. If it was identical other than the date, I wouldn't care either. I've got a sliding 1978 Night Driver, an open 1983 Mario Bros & a sliding 1982 Raiders. The sliding dustcovers didn't really start showing up until 1983-84 and the open ones until after the Atari Corp. change, so I figured they were just using old stocks of labels on new cartridges.

Is the plastic recessed to accept the discs, or are they just glued on top? There should be a little ridge of plastic around the disc. If not, somebody just glued them on.

I'm medium indifferent to this thread.
