  1. http://www.computerandvideogames.com/artic...42&site=pcz Just wanted to say congrats to Albert for his work on what is still the best game I've ever played.
  2. Very impressive for such a short period of time!
  3. Finally! I've been after this one for ages it seems. It's PAL & missing the end label, but it's the first one I've seen.
  4. Marco is gonna come in here and kick your ass!
  5. I've got a spare SS Pilot. $7 shipped (assuming you're in the US) PM me if interested.
  6. What are the max resolution & response time?
  7. It's blue - you're definitely color blind. I like that label too. Defender has quite a few variations - I've found six Atari & two Sears so far.
  8. Sure are. Obviously the overlay won't fit though.
  9. Like I said, not many will likely agree with me. It's just an easier way for me to keep track of label variations.
  10. No, I was just wondering from what era it was actually made. I've found some 1970's Atari Inc. labels attached to open cartridges, meaning that they were using old stocks of labels to put on cartridges made in the 1980's Atari Corp. era.
  11. Yes, there are. As picky as I am about label variations, there are some I don't bother with. For example, if two are identical in every way except the date, then I don't care. I think this case is different. I'm probably in the vast minority here, but I go so far as to classify Atari Inc. & Atari Corp. as separate companies, as it decreases confusion in my listings. Therefore, this is the Atari Inc. picture label, as opposed to the Atari Corp. picture label.
  12. Thanks. That pretty much guarantees that it was not a re-release with an old label, like some that I have found recently.
  13. I think all the 1987-ish re-releases are interesting and would like to add them to the database. Might it be easier to list out Atari Corp. & Atari Inc. as two separate companies?
  14. Bumpity bump. Hey Paint Load, could you tell me what (if any) dustcover this cartridge has? Locking, sliding or open?
  15. Pardon my ignorance, but what's the difference with this and a 'regular' flag capture? Until recently, the only known picture label variant of this cartridge was the Atari Corp re-release in the mid-80's. All original Atari Inc. Flag Captures were text labels until a 1978 picture label popped up recently.
  16. Sure. But then, this one wasn't a whim - it ended a bit after 5am his time. Bah, whatever - no hard feelings, Wonder. I'd just as soon a dedicated collector snipe me out of it than see it go to somebody who'll just flip it, or doesn't care.
  17. Easier said than done. If he wants it, he will get it. Next one shows up, I'll ask before I bid.
  18. I thought I could bid on that without having to worry about being Wonder'd. Oh well.
  19. Hey, I'll take one of 'em off your hands, Wonder.
