Who owns a 1986 or 1987 Dodge 'Em (NTSC)?
crunchysuperman replied to Christophero Sly's topic in Atari 2600
I've never known of an NTSC re-release of Dodge'Em. I have a 1986 error label & a 1987 omitted label, but they're both PAL. It would be interesting if you could confirm it though, as I've long since put Dodge'Em to bed as done in my collection. -
Scans of mine are here: main end I submitted them some time ago to be put up on AA.

sly says he knows of a guy who claims to have another one.

NOT what you want your UPS tracking info to say
crunchysuperman replied to MrRetroGamer's topic in Auction Central
They damage everything anyway, so for UPS to actually admit it was damaged, it must have been BAD -
Yup, that's the path a chose. My 2600 took a trip to the closet once I got a C64. That little machine changed everything! To this day, I still believe it to be, pound for pound, the most powerful computer ever devised. Although I eventually sold my original 2600 setup (which, of course, I deeply regret now), I never parted with my Commie stuff - I've hoarded up quite a stash over the years.

Not too bad of a set. My guess is that it was pieced together. The Target Fun is not the correct version and where's the original gray power supply? There's a chance that the Sears sticks were added to the set as well. Either way, cool stuff! Wow, good eye. I didn't notice that version of Target Fun before now. That is the much later version 49-75102. The one shipped with the heavy sixer would have been the gatefold one with serial number 99802, like shown on the box. Yeah, I figure it was pieced together. (I have that other version anyway) Funny coincidence though - several months ago, I found a Sears hex disc stuck to the inside of the instructions for one of the games in a big lot I bought. When I won this set some time later, it turned out one stick in the set was missing a hex disc (no, not the same seller). So, I figure I contributed to the piecing together as well.

Nice sticks! I'm good though, thanks. http://crunchysuperman.freeservers.com/group.jpg

Well, I have a repo copy but not the real mccoy. I also have a reproduction copy but am intrested in this one, looks like this will be the first auction where I will have to face the notorius Wonder007 that never loses an auction, I will put up a fight but your reputation speaks for it self............. I hate Ebay. He does lose now and then - it's just expensive when he does. I'd like to have this as well, but can't right now. I'll stay out of it.

Show me one that went for $10. . . . and I'll cry

Good score! You can't go wrong at 4 bits each.

Nope, and I've been looking pretty hard!
-
Yup. I just had the label listed wrong in my db.
-
My mistake guys. It's a multi-language label, but not a multi-language title.
-
Well, it's in my list, so hopefully I've not made a typo with this one We'll see when I get home tonight.
-
I can, but I don't think they're in any better condition than those.
-
There's a Keystone Kapers as well. I've had it and these four for a while now. I've kept an eye out for others, but those are all I've seen. Anybody have any info on just how many there were? I'll scan that cart tonight, BTW.

Why should it sadden you what others choose to do with their money?

What is the most $ you have seen a game go for?

There's an Air Raid on ebay right now, so I guess that'll answer this topic when it ends. -
Raiders of the Lost ark label variation
crunchysuperman replied to RickHarrisMaine's topic in Atari 2600
I don't think that's the one he's talking about. There's a 1982 Atari, Inc variation with orange all caps on the end label (but spelled correctly). There's a scan of it over at Atariguide. And actually, there are two variations with the "RAIDERS LOST ARK" end label. -
Right here. For me, Vanguard & Dig Dug were the overall hardest red labels to come by.
-
I thought I had them all, but I just noticed there's no red label Asteroids in my list. I could swear I had one though.
-
It's in the PAL label variation database (albeit a very bad picture). I can give you a proper scan of mine if you like.
-
Which one? The '81 "Atari Inc." original release, picture uncropped The '81 "Atari Inc." original release with cropped picture The '81 "Atari Corporation" red label release The '85 "Atari Corp" re-release with correct controller & audiovisual text The '86 "Atari Corp" re-release with omitted controller text The '86 "Atari Corp" re-release with correct controller text, omitted audiovisual text The '86 "Atari Corp." light blue re-release (linked above) . . . and there are probably more The red label would be the rarest, IMO.
