Do you have obelix NTSC for the 2600?
crunchysuperman replied to homerwannabee's topic in Rarity Guide
I have both NTSC & PAL versions. -
Not much at all.
-
No idea. Never been much on boxes, so I wouldn't be the one to ask.

Looks like one of those soft plastic fold-up cartridges. Is the pcb loose? Those things have a nasty habit of working loose inside and leaning off-center of the slot in the Atari.
-
Are the two prongs on either side of the pcb broken off? Welcome to the forums btw!

crunchysuperman replied to Curt Vendel's topic in Atari 2600

Asterix and Obelix with manuals of sale on ebay
crunchysuperman replied to jeff42's topic in Auction Central
Because PAL games will work correctly on some NTSC televisions. Why they were selling them at a local dept. store is beyond me. -
I have both of those - they're the only ones like that AFAIK.

I think I may have something rare/weird here......
crunchysuperman replied to victorfrost's topic in Atari 2600
It's this oddball top label - it's made with lead! -

Nothing more than what's in the thread. I haven't gotten around to completing my modified 7800 to dump the rom yet. I'm certainly not going to peel the label Anybody have any idea how to see what's underneath without peeling? -
Opinions? Fishy? Patches! Repros? Hmmmmm...
crunchysuperman replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Auction Central
They're real - I got mine today. -
29 right now. I wish Ebay would allow greater flexibility in specifying search criteria. What would be nice would be seperate search parameters for both the auction title and body. If I could do that, I could cut out many more false hits from all the keyword spamming.

That Party Mix will grab $100 easy Fireball maybe $30 The others, $10-ish

Yeah, I get it too. He was going to be making quite a few changes to the store, so I assume that it's not all up and running yet.

Do you have a red King Kong? I'd say that one is rarer than the standard blue one.

Items for Atari 2600 manufactured in Brazil
crunchysuperman replied to Sr. Ferraz's topic in Atari 2600
I'm just loving this thread! There's some fantastic stuff down there! -
There's also one with uppcase on the main label and lowercase on the end. In addition, there another one that's opposite of this. The rarity guide is far from complete. And welcome to the forums!

The only one on this list that I have is Space Combat 99803, which I see someone else has already confirmed. 1023924[/snapback] Any chance you cold post a scan? If there are minor differences in the label other than the number, it would be helpful to have a point of reference for my search.

Compiling lists of Atari, Corp. (re-release) label variants

Nice finds! -
Here's the b&w manual: other pages here, here and here.

I did indeed. I already had a PAL gray label with the blue end text, but I was lacking the NTSC with the red end text. I gambled there was one inside & was proved correct.
