1. Should be Colecovision - I have one.
2. Well, maybe if they were low s/n# heavies, but that aside, it's not like there's a shortage or anything yet. I did something similar a long time ago. I cleaned up the MB from a dead C64 and put an analog clock movement in it & hung it on my wall. Hmm, I need to find what I did with that thing . . .
3. I've had both of these for a while, and neither were very difficult to find. I find it strange that there doesn't seem to be a LVAR list that shows both of these. In fact, the only way I even knew they existed was because AA's only scan shows the "1 player" version and Atariguide's scan only shows the "1 or 2 player" version. I'm also curious about the 99845 version. Actually, I never noticed it on AA's Superman page - I first saw it on this list of label variations (they show it as ?-99845, I suppose to speculate if it has a 6- prefix or not). If it exists, that would be four confirmed Sears Superman variations!
4. Sell Wonder Woman's invisible jet. You'll get bags more for it. 1013614 Actually, that was done a few years ago. The picture was great - just a shot of the clear, blue sky.
5. My mistake (again) Jogos Eletronicos and MASH are correct.
6. Expect a private message from crunchysuperman. 1012042 and done!
7. What do you guys see here? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...me=STRK:MEWN:IT I see an '86 re-release and a heavy driving control for a cheap BIN. So what do get in the mail? Two non-heavy controllers & a standard '78 label :!: :!: :!: An email to this seller produces the expected response: "I didn't know there was any difference. Sorry, I no longer have that one" This has happened to me before, and I've learned to email ahead of time to make sure what I see is what I'll get, but I've also had cheap BIN's like that snatched out from under me while I wait for a reply, so I had to buy it. It's not the money, mind you - the seller offered a full refund, but that's not the point, nor is it worth my time packing it up for that amount. Aside from CincYnoTi's avatar, that's the only one of those I've ever seen (likely the last one too) and one of only four known black re-releases I lack now. There are several very reputable re-sellers here who have never pulled stunts like this to me. How hard is it, really, to take a picture and then segregate those items marked with the auction number? If, as a seller, you're just going to grab up whatever copy you feel like & throw it into a box, why bother even taking a picture? To me, this is no different than those morons whose only auction picture is a stock photo or a screenshot - what's the point? Most of us are collectors here, and acquiring these cartridges has nothing to do with the game IP itself. If it were only about the game, we'd just play emulators & skip the hassle & expense of finding these things. Many here don't care about label variations as I do, but even if you don't, it's the condition of the actual physical item that matters, as is the case of any type of collectible. It's no different that if I were a rare book collector & won an auction for a some original hardback edition, only to receive a beat-up paperback, with the seller crying "I didn't know there was a difference - it's the same words inside, right?" Maybe we should just pay them with Monopoly money - after all, those are also just little pieces of paper with numbers on them, what's the difference? I sent the seller pretty much all of the above, and I know posting this here is just preaching to the choir, but it feels better to rant to those who understand.
8. Nope, my mistake - these two are exactly as you have them in your database.
9. Here's a few I have that aren't in that database: Commando Raid - Supergame Donkey Kong/Pinball/Dragon Fire/Fantastic Voyage - Techmagic (I have it down as Techmagic, not Tecmagic - I'll check when I get home to make sure) Kangaroo - Maxgames M.A.S.H./Mouse Trap - Tiger Vision River Raid - Mega Seaquest - 2001:A Video Odyssey (in English, not 2001-Uma Odisseia Em Video Again, I'll double-check this to be sure) Seaquest - Microsoft Space Invaders - Jogos Electronicos Tarantula - Video Grow X-Man - Tiger Vision
10. That's the only one I'm missing. 948377 Finally got one! That completes the 8's for me.
11. I never have luck as good as that. Best I've done that I can think of is a recent lot of about 20 pcs with a Tomarc/Motocross buried in it for around $60.
12. I've had a loose one for a while now, but this is only the 2nd boxed one I seen. There's another loose one on Ebay right now.
13. Nice, Tom! Looks like a Colecovision knock-off for the end label font.
14. Just out of curiosity, does anybody know for sure what the last "Atari, Inc." label was in 1984 before they changed to "Atari Corp."? The only Atari titles to debut in 1984 were: Crystal Castles Gremlins Millipede Pengo Rubik's Cube Stargate Track & Field Track & Field is out right away - it came out in '84, but with a "Corp." label (I suppose the very first of that style, perhaps the reason for the funny label) Rubik's Cube probably should also be tossed, as it was just a re-packaged Atari Video Cube from '82 (although it could still have been the last "Inc." label) The rest were all original releases in '84 with "Inc" labels. Now, Stargate was the first of these to get a "Corp." re-release in '85, so perhaps it might have been released early in '84, but that's just speculation on my part. So, is there any evidence of which one was the last, or do you suppose they were all shoved out the door at the same time?
15. Yup, another Brazilian pirate. Atariguide lists 10: Decathlon, Enduro, Football, Frogger, Pac-Man, River Riad, Sea Quest, Smurf:RIGC, Tennis & Zaxxon. No doubt there are likely more, but that's all I'm aware of. Tom would probably know more about them than I do.
16. Yeah, that's a Microsoft label - I've got a Sea Quest from them.
