  1. Was one of them an overseas payment being converted into another currency? I've had that happen before.
  2. I suppose he was wanting me to make him an offer, as he didn't list an asking price.
  3. No on both questions. Once I found silver labels inside, I gave them no more thought & promptly re-sold them. But if it can be confirmed that all the "made in China" boxes have red labels inside, that would certainly make life easier.
  4. I've learned that those are usually silver carts inside. I'm not interested in the box.
  5. http://cgi.ebay.com/Vintage-Retro-lot-of-A...1QQcmdZViewItem And he's got a username to match!
  6. That guy emailed me to buy it before he put it up on ebay.
  7. Sorry bud, I must have already sold it. Looks like Rick has you covered though.
  8. Loose is fine. Anybody got one they wanna part with?
  9. Does it have a sticker on it? Looks identical to the NTSC release. Interesting.
  10. I dunno how I missed that loose one - I search for it pretty much daily! And I've had a few red-box-with-silver-inside Dig Dugs before, but I need the red cartridge. There's a PAL red label Atari release for Mouse Trap? I have the NTSC red label, but I didn't know Atari put out a PAL release - I thought they were thru CBS over there.
  11. Think I have a spare one - let me check this evening.
  12. Hey, sorry! I put a bid on that one as soon as it went up! That's the first one of those black Pengos I've ever seen on Ebay, so I couldn't pass on that. Actually, I was after that and the red Ms. Pac-Man. All I need now is a red Dig Dug & I'll have all the red PAL variants!
  13. It kept the '77 copyright date on it, but the big yellow version was actually released in late '82, thus the holo-sticker you mention. Like you, I'd love to know why Atari did one-off stuff like this that flew in the face of their labeling standards at the time.
  14. Need to bump this thread back up! Hey, does anybody out there have a shot of an '86 Star Raiders re-release? The big list of label variations shows it exists, but I've never seen one. Locating one would be easier if I had a pic to go by. Anybody?
  15. :!: oh well Guess that shows how hard I've been looking lately.
  16. Thanks for the heads up on that - I'd been keen to pick up one sometime if I ever saw one going cheap. This qualifies.
  17. Lots of info in the 2600 forum. A very good thread can be found here.
  18. So would I. It's supposed to just be Star Ship under a different name, but I can't confirm that as SSK doesn't seem recognize it when he brings it up.
  19. Seems to be - according to him anyway. He also said he ain't selling it yet either.
  20. \o/ Woohoo! Holy grail #1 achieved! Now, if I can just get SSK to part with that Space Mission No, no, no - don't even do that!
