  1. That Lipstick controller was originally released in the US by Access for the C64 game Echelon. All it did was replace the fire button with a microphone. The marketing showed these kids speaking "fire!" into the mic, but in fact, it would respond to any sound that it picked up - it was basically useless. After a time, it was no longer even bundled with the game, as it was never required for gameplay in the first place. I have no idea if it was released elsewhere in the world, or if it was also released as an official 2600 controller. It would certainly work - they have the same pinout, but I don't think they ever pushed an Atari "version". Could be wrong about that though. Can you imagine some kid playing Space Invaders with that thing? "fire . . fire . . fire . . fire . . fire . . fire . . fire . . fire . . fire . . fire . . "
  2. Didn't even notice that MC. It's definately not a Sears label, and not even any Atari label that I've seen (they don't have red text). There's a PAL re-release missing the controler text (I've never seen it though) - maybe it's that.
  3. Why not end it Sunday? I always thought that was the best time For whatever reason, stuff that ends on Sunday usually goes cheap. Search the forums & you'll see several threads about with examples.
  4. What's funny is that despite most folks loathing them, ET & Pac-Man are usually the titles sellers will put in the auction description for cartridge lots on Ebay that contain them.
  5. Don't end it on Sunday. Middle of the week should do you just fine.
  6. For the most part, for me, no pictures or stock pictures = no interest & no bid.
  7. Other than what was discussed in that auction thread, no. You had that email from the seller & it all seemed legit enough to me. I really doubt it's some elaborate homemade fake, as too few people ever knew anything about it. If it were a deliberate deception, they would've pimped the "ooo, ahh - ultra rare [email protected]@@k!!" in the auction for all it was worth. SSK won it & I've emailed him about it, so maybe we'll get some answers.
  8. For what it's worth, the PAL box scan here on AA does not have the "new" on it, so that might back this statement up, assuming the box scan is correct.
  9. I have an RCA 26" that's about 10 years old that works just fine with PAL carts - no color difference or anything. Plug them into a 13" Magnavox I have that's a few years older & they roll. Haven't tried my plasma yet - maybe I should.
  10. Atariguide shows another PAL Battlezone not listed on your red list. It's actually more of a brown label than anything really. I've never been able to find one though.
  11. Sears picture label Superman or, now that I know it exists, Space Mission!!
  12. Sure did, on top of the unit - I've had one for years. The cassette port was the only one it didn't replicate from the original 64. I modded mine with JiffyDOS, a drive reset & device number switches, & I was going to eventually add a 3.5" drive to that extra space, but I never got around to it. I still drag it out every now & then (emphasis on drag )
  13. The 64 had a very large following in Europe long after it had died in the states, and cassette drives were still widely used.
  14. Legacy of the Ancients > all Times of Lore was fun too.
  15. With a reserve and $15 to ship (even domestically)
  16. I'll toss 'em first of the week unless somebody speaks up.
  17. Do either of these exist in picture label with correct controller text?
  18. I need the following 2600 PAL red label releases. Dodge'Em Galaxian Kangaroo Ms. Pac-Man Phoenix Dig Dug
