Oh yeah - I'm watching it.

I can't find here on AtariAge anyway a list of Atari Re release games with rarity besides the ones done with red labels. Why no rarity guide for siver label re-releases?Probably would drive Al crazy! Label variations is a very messy business.
-
There are three E.T. variations that I'm aware of. None of them are hard to find. Kinda surprised that in 100 carts you didn't have one of those already.

Atlantis II
Ultravision Karate
Pepsi Invaders
MagiCard (x2) - both labels (Commavid & Computer Magic)
VideoLife CIB
Various rare or unique label variations.

I like emulators, but there's nothing like physically plugging in a cartridge. It's a part of the experience, much like the sound & feel of a coin going into an arcade machine.

Wow, who knew you could use Quadrun as a scouring pad?

The second one I won (a little over a year ago), I paid $2,000.I remember it - you sniped me out of it when you already had one.

As far as it's rarity goes, I don't really care where it was made. Being a non-US release would make it no less desirable for me.

Imagic released some patches <snip>
Any proof of this? I've never seen/heard of these, and a quick search of the forums yielded no real results.
I have a couple Imagic posters and the Numb Thumb newsletters, but I've never seen patches. I'm trying to recall that seller from ebay that had all the promotional stuff last year with buttons, and ribbons, among other things, if he was selling any patches, or if any were Imagic titles. I don't think they were thou.
I thought I had heard about Imagic patches, but I can't recall seeing a picture of one. I should go through all the various game manuals to see if any were offered. Interestingly, the wiki entry on Imagic mentions patches - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Imagic - and even the AA page on Contests has an entry for them - http://www.atariage.com/2600/archives/contests.html - although it's blank.
Maybe you're thinking of the CBS medallions?

Nice collection!

^ I was under the impression that only the one had been found.

Damn, I missed that one!

I still have mine from back in '87. There were a few bug fixes and a couple of minor changes from the 128, the only one I remember off hand was the video RAM upgrade from 16 to 64k. I remember some of the Kracker Jax copiers took advantage of it (even in 64 mode) as a swap space for single drive disk copying. Basic8 would also allow 640x400 graphic commands that you couldn't do with a plain 128.
I JiffyDOS'd mine, put switches up front to change the drive number from 8-11, a dedicated drive reset button, moved the system reset to the front, had a battery-backed RAMLink and SuperSnapshot 5.0 for which I also moved the enable button the front.
I don't remember ever having any incompatibilities with 64 mode software, and I had a ton of it! (still do)

Damage control. That's like saying "we designed our new car to be horribly uncomfortable and a real bitch to keep control of. That way we're sure to get only the best drivers behind the wheel of our new beauty"

Wonder007.

^ One of the ones I sent in was a PAL cart - Al said it should be fine.

I got this reply regarding the shipping rape:
Insurance and signature confirmation is included. That alone is 7 dollars.

I picked one up cheap with a bunch of games several years ago, but I've never even hooked it up.

Me wants!

Very Frankenstein - I love it!

Probably Fast Food.

I don't fix the cartridge - I rig the console instead. I keep a couple of small screws nearby and wedge them into the slots on the console for just such broken cartridges. Simple & stupid, but it works.

I seem to have misplaced mine.
Somebody want to sell me one? I don't need a box or anything, as this is purely for day-to-day playing.
