$50 for the board to build yourself(Its easy, like wiring up a arcade cabinet, just time consuming and the spinner is about $100 for a good one) or we can construct a controller from scratch for $300. Lee Olivares(Eltoozero, the creator) is hand crafting them like he did with his Yak Spinner prototype. They will look nice These boards also contain a digital input as well so you can controll games like Iron Soldier 3. let me know Cole

While it would be be unfortunate to not be able to play Battlemorph, it ultimately isn't that big of a loss. There isn't much software on the Jag CD that couldn't be found elsewhere. As a work around, would it be possible to integrate something like the MSU-1 on the SD2SNES? Many(most?) Jaguar games lack music so it would be nice to patch it in.

I wonder if it's possible to track down the original author of the CD bios to help explain the logic. Jeff Minter probably knows who wrote that routine since he wrote the VLM.

That's true, even if it is in a raw PCM audio format, a 32GB card would hold the entire JagCD library and like a dozen albums. Either way, thats badass.. looking forward to some VLM goodness!

SainT, would it be straightforward to have mp3 decompression implemented in the FPGA using the trapped VLM CD Hooks?

Thanks Dr Clu. I know, I just about had a heart attack when I saw it. It's the only Nuon ISO besides Crayon Shin Chan 3 I didn't have yet so I immediately made a bin/cue of it once I arrived home from the trip. I did some research over the last week or so and found a company willing to purchase it for $165, but I don't have any intentions of selling it until I find another physical copy to replace it. Although I have almost every ISO, I also currently have physical copies of Tempest 3000, Merlin Racing & Bedazzled to go with the The Next Tetris so I'm like half way there to having the full set of Nuon content.. It's getting there.

Just purchaed this sd-2300 for $12 by driving 120 miles to a craigslist ad today... and unbeknownst to me, surprisingly, the person selling it had a copy of Next Tetris included with it!

Does the sd-2300 play dvd-r's? I read that it wasn't compatible with burned media. I have a Samsung N501 and plan to pick up a sd-2300 this Sunday for $12. I own a copy of Tempest 3000 but would like to stay away from using it as much as possible.

Which U.K. seller did you originally go through jwhyrock? I ask because I just ordered a s-video cable from someone inthe U.K. & hoping that the same issue doesn't occur to me as well
