Yes, I am aware of an Easyflash crack that has both Turrican 1 and 2 on it. However, there's a problem. Here's what I wrote on the Lemon64 thread about it:

 

While it's nice, I've noticed that very rarely, Turrican 1 tends to corrupt itself and maybe even softlock. Also, 5-2 in Turrican 1 is just an empty copy of 5-1 that cuts off at some point upward, rendering the level (and the game itself) unbeatable as a result. It would also be nice for Turrican 2 to be based on the disk version, not the tape version.

Now, that issue with T1 5-2 probably has gone away now that I use a new config. But I still hold my case.

I originally posted this on the Lemon64 forums, but no one wanted to help.

 

So I have IDE64 installed for VICE, and I'm trying to load the IDE64 crack for Turrican. I can't seem to get it to work however. I can load the file "!turrican1", but that seems to be just the crack and trainer. All the guides I've found for running IDE64 programs in VICE seem to be of no help.

 

I tried using D64 Editor(/http://www.d64editor.com/), but problems arise when you try to fit a two-disk game on one disk without any modifications to the files.

 

Any help?

If you have the latest version 0.6.5 it's documented in the included coolcv.txt (alt + enter to go full screen in windows). Use Notepad++ or wordpad to read the instructions as the text file is formatted for Unix. I do notice that full screen runs slower than windowed mode (my computer is about 12 years old). Does Super Donkey Kong play any different on CoolCV compared to AdamEm?

Well, in Virtual ADAM, a frontend for the DOS version of ADAMEm, the springs on the elevators level on skill 3 move REALLY fast unless at a certain point. CoolCV less so.

What kind of fucking emulator is this turd called CoolCV? Why isn't there a simple menu on the top with drop down menus that allow me to load the ROM? Why can't I configure my controls? Why is the fire button space and not Z? Why is the manual a fucking mess?

EDIT: I just realized this emulator is primarily for Mac. What a load of bullshit. I guess that shitty manual is supposed to be viewed in macOS' notepad and not Windows'.

EDIT2: Also, how the fuck do I properly go fullscreen?
