I just played a round of your game as well as Edtris. Your game starts off at a much better pace than Edtris and looks much better but something about the controls are almost TOO responsive for me. A piece will flip two or three times in midair when I only mean to do one partial turn. I know nothing about programming so I have no idea why this is. Forgive the non-programmer criticism, just telling my experience Keep up the good work. This is very promising and would like to see it on cart. Wp

My newest systems are Jaguar and neogeo cd. Even the neo geo's graphics look too advanced for my liking lol Older graphics just look nicer to me, its hard to explain. I played an update of bubble bobble on the xbox arcade and the graphics just look cheap (They reminded me of a flash game), does this make any sense to anyone? Games today look like garbage to me, no personality, no charm. Don't worry just a grumpy old man here! The newer consoles give me headaches and make me dizzy. I am just getting old, I suppose but give me the good old games. Wp

I find that whenever I would beat a game on a newer system I just never played it again so that gives my Atari the advantage. The PS2 is the newest system that I own and I may play it a couple times per month. I play Atari either on my console or by emulation several times per week. Wp

If hacks and homebrew keeps you emulating, buy a harmony cart. It isn't like the hacks and homebrews are holding me at gunpoint and forcing me to use emulation against my will lol! I actually like it now so no need to buy something to set me free I use my original Vader to play DK and the old classics I had as a kid as well as the homebrews I have bought and use Stella for everything else. It just happens I am playing alot of everything else lately. Wp

Still amazed at how much my opinion on emulators has changed! When this thread started I absolutely hated the idea of emulation and played my Vader exclusively....now I notice that my Stella gets at least 90% of my Atari time! I still occasionally fire up my console and play around some but since I mostly enjoy playing the new hacks and in developement homebrew games nowadays it is Stella that gets most of the attention. I have even considered unhooking my Vader for space reasons and putting it in storage......considered it but not DONE it It is the games that I love no matter what method is used to play them. Wp

I am dragging this thread up from the abyss but it is my thread and my idea for dragging The 30th Anniversary Cart Release never materialized but now with 2012 in sight there is STILL time for a monumental 35th Anniversary Cart to in the works! There had been some talk of a 9 in 1 Multicart featuring all of the original releases as well as talk of a new version of Combat. In my humble opinion a one player Combat would be a great idea for 35th Anniversary celebrations. Of course a multicart would be nice also. Let's not let Stella down this time! Wp
