Any updates on this one? This would have been a fine port but I guess Champ Games is down for the count?

I have zero problem getting Stella to run on my system but EVERY other emulator I have tried is nothing but a pain in the ass.
thanks
That's because most emulators on Linux were developed for Linux as an afterthought (where the main focus was on Windows). Stella is actually one of the very few emulators that is developed exclusively on Linux, and ported to OSX and Windows afterwards. IMHO, a Linux system with a properly supported OpenGL card is still the best environment for Stella.
Thanks Stephen! Stella is the top of the line. I found an NES emulator I was about to download and it had no sound whatsoever and I couldn't figure out how to make my gamepad work with it. Screw it, I'll play Atari

I am looking for a good simple NES emulator prefer one which has an exe file.

If anyone can point me to a good easy to install/use NES emu and some ROM's I would appreciate.
thanks

As much as I love the original hardware my original console (Vader) is packed away in a closet while Stella is sitting right here on my desktop
For Atari I prefer emulation because it allows me to have all my games at my fingertips PLUS I can play the new games in development here on AA.
Emulation is my pick nowadays.

Am I the ONLY person who likes Pac Kong??? It ain't THAT bad and the difficulty is a notch up from Coleco's DK
Cut it some slack! I keep in on my fav's list on Stella. -
If you just needed a gamepad, there are a million of those around. I assumed you were looking for more of a traditional joystick.
Either or would have worked. I saw the Atari Style on Amazon and they looked neat but this Radio Shack deal serves the Porpoise

Bought one at Radio Shack that works great!
Thanks gents -
Would something like THIS thing work with Stella?
it should. i use this one for all my emulators including stella. http://www.geekstuff...pad-i-revo.html
Awesome! I have no problem playng Stella with the keyboard controls but my 5 year old has a hard time with it. I need something to help her enjoy it more.

Thank you for all the positive feedback.
I just got my first "angry" message through eBay. They claimed that I have a better chance of seeing God than I do of selling this game for $2300 and that they just saw one at a penny arcade auction go for $900. Rather than be an ass, I apologized for upsetting them so much and reminded them that I started the auction at $1 (angry people hate politeness).
Perhaps they should have been a little more active at the penny arcade auction?
I am starting to have fun now.
Jackassery on their part! I myself am content just to play Air Raid on Stella (and not that often) but some people will gladly pay 5 grand or better to own it.

Yip, I still have the Vader that I got for my Bday in 1982 and it works fine but had to replace the joysticks. I played the Vader exclusively for 25 years and then switched to Stella

I know about the Stelladapter and the USB Atari Joysticks I have seen online but are there any "over the counter" joysticks that serve the same purpose that can be picked up at Wal Mart or Radio Shack?
Thanks.

May I ask if you bought yours at Tuesday Morning or another discount store like Tanner did?

Hack Boxing So the Fire Button Restarts the game?

Would it be possible for someone to hack Boxing so that it may be restarted using the fire button?
Love the game but like all Activision titles it is annoying reaching for the reset switch.
