Oh well, Im a couple years behind on this one

Has anyone hacked Alien into a Pac-Man game? If not that would be cool, you could call it Pac-Man Returns or leave the alien creatures in it and make it Pac-Man in Lobsterland or something Also instead of having the "fork" or whatnot at the top of the screen during the bonus round it could be Ms. Pac-Man who is being held hostage by the ghosts THAT would be a good game.

Amen Delicon You speak the truth I am sorry if I offended anyone with my language in my reply, I am very touchy on this subject.

You sir can blow a goat The Battle Flag is a St. Andrews cross much like the state flag of Alabama or Scotland for that matter , Slave ships flew the flag of the United States (which I believe is still flown in Vermont) Not the Confederate Battle flag or the Naval Jack, as a matter of fact most slavers flew the flag of The Netherlands. The Southern Cross is a symbol of the Southern people and our Scot-Irish heritage, I assume you are an Anti-Celt Bigot which is your right just dont expect me to sit by and allow you to insult my family and ancestors. Nuff Said Post Scriptum: I expect to be insulted on the P&R Forum, but here??? Yankee arrogance knows no bounds I suppose

How could I forget Stargate? Add that one to my list

If you had to make a list of the top 5 arcade ports to the 2600 what would they be? I would be curious to see how peoples list would match up on this, my picks would be in no particular order 1.Berzerk 2.Phoenix 3.Ms. PacMan 4.Wizard of Wor 5.Venture And I would pick Seawolf as the best Homebrew arcade port if in fact it can be considered a port. So whatcha think?

http://www.klov.com/game_detail.php?letter=M&game_id=12812 According to KLOV this game is the same as Fonz only without the cool cabinet art.

A CHALLENGE TO ALL I challenge anyone to make either a homebrew of or hack an existing game (River Raid, Dukes of Hazzard?) into Fonz. The reward for pulling off this, the grandest of all arcade ports will be 2 packs of Camel cigarettes 2 Pac Man cartridges and 1 Hohner harmonica sent personally to you via mail from Sandmountainslim

sandmountainslim replied to Retro Gamer's topic in Atari 2600

As I have said before the worst 2600 game ever is Desert Falcon, hope NovaExpress doesnt see this one -
Yeah, if you somehow end up in Alabama drop on by and we will eat a bunch of fried stuff and break open that "Red October" game and fire it up

We need a poll on this one

Hi all, I have what is probably a stupid question , I was dining in a cafe today and saw an old Ms Pac Man machine so I decided to give it a go, what puzzled me was how FAST Ms Pac moved on the screen it was like lightning much faster than the Atari version or emulations I have played. Was something wrong with the machine or was it always this fast and I have forgotten until now? Thanks for any answers

Midway Arcade -> Atari 2600 port
sandmountainslim replied to Cybergoth's topic in Homebrew Discussion
Hey Manuel , ya ever consider doing a homebrew of "Fonz"? Everyone says its impossible cuz it doesnt have a CPU Sure would be cool to see an expert give it a go though But it isnt a Midway game -
Hmm, so the creator doesnt like it? Oh well I shall use it as a decorator piece, someone younger might think there is a DVD in that box Actually it looks great , I have it propped up in my gameroom now I will try to find an open one to play.

Hello All, I was pillaging thru a pawn shop yesterday and bought a copy of Hunt for Red October for the NES, the game is still shrinkwrapped in the box and I got it for four dollars. My question would be should I leave it the way it is or open it to play? Is it a good game? This is game I have never played before and I couldnt find any reviews of it online so what do you folks thnk? Thanks

Off Topic posts are a ploy to STEAL the spotlight from Team Savage and make people forget their glorious Knight Rider project. We all see thru this.
-
Are you people gonna start workin on this or am I gonna have to call Team Savage and get them involved? I would hate to have to resort to that but when you must....

Difficult is an understatement, because it's actually impossible to emulate. When you're talking about discrete circuitry, you aren't talking about emulation anymore but instead simulation. You can still write a program that captures the essense of the game, and MAME could probably do it if someone wrote a simulation environment based on the properties (and in some cases, the device physics) of the individual components just as existing simulators do. But I am one of those on the pessimistic side, since I have used these simulators on 2.6 Ghz machines and even relatively simple circuits cannot be simulated in real time. 836815[/snapback] Hey that sounds cool SIMULATING classic games, maybe the next big thing.

WHY IS Yorgle scared of the yellow key?
sandmountainslim replied to liquid_sky's topic in Atari 2600
Perhaps the yellow key unlocks his chastity belt? -
Was there ever an Atari port of Computer Space? I have never played this game but as I understand it was the first video game ever but I wasnt sure if it was ever offered on the VCS or any home system. Thanks for any info.
-
is most like the coin op? I cant recall ever having played the arcade version so I wasnt sure if it gave bonus lives every 1000 or 2000 points or if it was like variation 9 with no bonus lives given. Thanks for any info

Has anyone considered making a homebrew of or hacking an existing game into a port of the old arcade game Fonz? I remember thinking the cabinet looked cool when I was a kid but the game really had nothing to do with Happy Days, just a motorcycle racing game as best I remember. Would be cool to see this one on the VCS

For those who are married..
sandmountainslim replied to sandmountainslim's topic in Classic Console Discussion
My wife will play Dr. Mario on the NES and Stargate on the VCS but thats about it I get most of my gaming in while she watches her Godawful sitcoms and medical shows on TV or patrols Wal Mart -
