  1. i dont even have the first pitfall yet :(

The original should be pretty easy to find if ya hit the fleas and goodwills enuff, I saw two copies of it today :) Pitfall 2 however has taken me six months of searching (not reverting to ebay of course) but I will say it was well worth the wait, I am also sad to have missed it back in the day , it would have helped me be more prepared for SMB and not have looked like such an incompetant ass back in '86 :D

  2. Welp finally bought Pitfall 2 today and it is amazing :) I have always liked Pitfall and had intended on buying it for years but I must say it is even better than I had thought it would be, almost like an NES game as far as the depth of gameplay goes , anyone who doesnt have this one (I am sure most of you do) DO NOT TURN IT DOWN, one of the finest games I have ever played :)

  3. Ok , Saboteur or A-Team which is your favourite version of the game and why? I myself like A-Team best simply due to the nostalgia of it what with getting to be a lighning powered Mr. T. So whatcha think?

  4. I don't think I would sell mine because I (or my family) bought many of those games back in the 1980s when they were new or semi-new. One of the few connections I have to a special time in my life that only spanned a few years. Having the actual games I got back then is worth more to me than any used replacements that I would buy later.

Ditto here, my Vader unit along with my Pac Man ,Donkey Kong and Jungle Hunt were given to me by my stepmother who died in '85 so I dont think I could ever sell them.

Beautiful work all around. As always, AA makes the best package in the business. Check out the competition, no one else puts that much care and attention into classic gaming.

Agreed! I have only been around for a few months but I have been 100 percent satisfied with my orders and happy as a lark :)

  6. I suppose its both for me , I still have the Vader console I got as a kid and all the games I had at the time (only 16 of em) but over the years I have picked up almost seventy more games to add to those, I want all the games I didnt have back in the day and I am slowly but surely gettin there, I do love the gameplay of the VCS.

  7. I found something odd today (to me anyways) I was shopping at the Salvation Army and found a woodgrain wall mounted 2600 cart storage unit, had never saw one of these before but it looks good on my wall.

  8. Hello all , Does anyone know anything about a dedicated handheld called "Senario VS Maxx"? I saw it at a thrift today for three bucks but am unsure what it is, there was no listing of games as it was without a box or instructions. Is this a famiclone like the Super Joy or something else altogether? any help appreciated.

  9. Hello All, I had read where Genesis controllers would work with the VCS and hooked mine up to try it out, it works fine on some games but others like Beamrider , Robot Tank and a few others it either will not work at all or just fires constantly as is the case with Robot Tank. Is this true with all Genesis controllers or could there be something wrong with mine?

  10. Oh yeah one more thing, does this game have an actual ending or just repeat over and over? The manual speaks of saving the capital starport but I didnt know if that was actually part of the game or just part of the story, as you guessed I havent mastered it enough to know the answer to this.
