I have to practically BEAT my NES into submission when I wanna play maybe its from the carts being left in it.
-
Yeah I love the original Venture but it could be better, I will probably buy Venture 2. Wolfenstein? never heard of that one I shall do a AA search on it, if its coming out on cartridge I will probably want it.
-
Is this project still in the works? I hope so would really like to buy this one, whatcha say Thomas?
-
When finished will this be called Venture 3? I have been planning on buying Venture 2 from the AA store but as I understand it it has only two levels like the Coleco version, maybe I shall wait on this one to be released on cartridge.

to me it is more fun than Battlezone, though I will concede it isnt the most realistic game around.

Played Robot Tank for the first time yesterday, picked it up at a thrift for two dollars and it is one awesome game! I think it is much better than Battlezone funwise anyway. Anyone else impressed with the graphics/gameplay of this gem?

News Flash!! The patterns start at level 1 when you put a squirt or two of Armor All inside the cartridge! I shall be past level 99 in no time.
-
....and you have to be at level six before the pattern starts working, guess I should mention that.
-
Yip, I think I have a good pattern worked out, I go to the second level and wait for the girders of two and three to cross then I hit the button for the first time, I usually hit it twice after that never giving the ball time to move to another level, I shall give it another go tonite after dinner, hoping to reach level 99 if I can just keep it up. Yeah I only play it on Advanced I like the sound of the falling stuff.

Well I finally fell into the groove on C5 tonight, made it all the way to level 55 before hitting the button at the wrong time and throwing the whole thing off. Look out Stan Jr. Slim has got your number!

Yeah, I should point out that I use periods, exclamation points and commas etc. as I see fit, they work for me not the other way round, also I NEVER misspell words however I do find new creative ways of spelling things occasionally. I dunno if those four for ten are still there or not I saw them in Hanceville, Al. a couple weeks back, however I shall be going there again probably first of Feb. if they are still around I shall pick them up and let you know. Let me state again I have nothing against Segas its just that I get tired of people trying to pass em off to me as the deal of the century when they are clearly not what I am looking for.

I have been pillaging the local thrift stores, Goodwills flea mkts etc. here in Alabama looking for all the Atari and NES gear I can get for bargain prices and everywhere I go there is a friggin bushel or so of Sega Genesis machines one guy tried to sell me four of em for ten dollars I declined as I already have a Genesis and last played it when flannel was all the rage, is this the case everywhere Segas to the ceiling with no buyers or is it just where I live? I had nothing against the Sega consoles until every thrift store huckster in 14 counties tried to talk me into buying a heap of em.

Yes!! I got my copy of Climber 5 in this morning and it is Awesome! Dennis Debro if you read this my hat is off to you sir, I am more than impressed, most shocking thing to me was the ability to PAUSE the game on the 2600, is this the only vcs game with that ability? if not it is the only one I have seen and that is cool as the other side of the pillow.

which console comes to mind the Atari 2600 or the NES? I have both hooked up in my gameroom and cant make up my mind which I am most nostalgic for, The Atari was the first system I owned and I have had it since around 82 or 83, brings back memories of that era however the NES really hit big when I was around 15 or so and I have memories of staying up until three or four in the morning with my friends playing Zelda or Mario so it pops to mind when thinking bout that wonderful decade also, how about you folks, which one does it for you?

Went into a thrift store north of Bham Alabama this morning looking for Atari carts, lady said she thought there was a box of Atari stuff on a table for ten dollars, bought the box which contained no Atari anything but it did contain a NES with fourteen games seven controllers, four light guns and a PS1 with two analog controllers all working, Was it a good day or what?
-
for the connector at Radio Shack that replaces the box that has "computer" and "TV" written on it to connects the 2600 to the television? I tried to explain what I needed to the moron kid at Radio Shack and she looked at me like I was needing parts for a steam engine or something, called RS customer svc and they are only open monday thru friday, Any help appreciated.

Well they should be whipped with a wet squirrel for their "design". I wanna chunk mine out the window when it blinks out on me, I need one of those high falutin top loaders or else just stick to my Atari
