  1. Thanks for the words of encouragement from everyone. I just wanted to add that I just updated the Stella webpage with an EXE installer for the Windows 98/2000 version (previously, there was only a ZIP install, which may not work for many people who don't have ZIP installed).

    Thank U :) Version 3.3 works great with Win2000.

  2. I FOUND the Shuttle Craft....Now what do you do when U find it? How do U radio up to let them know the stage is done?

    Post Scriptum

This is the PERFECT use for the Circus Galacticus engine! Love it.

EDIT: It just occurred to me, can you try using the .ZIP version instead? If that works, I know the problem is with the application creating the EXE file. Otherwise, it's a development environment problem.

Just tried it and it won't let me open the zip file. "Access Denied" and "Not a Valid Winzip32 Application" boxes appear.

  4. Stephen,

As everyone knows I am not a technically savvy guy but I am running Windows2000 and the latest release will not open when installed on my computer. I used the exe version as always and installed as I do every time and when installed it will not open but I get an error box reading "Not a valid winzip32 application".

I reverted to the previous 3.2.1 version and it works fine.

  5. I wondered if anyone would be willing to try and make the Pac Man Arcade hack a bit more accurate so that the red ghost rather than the blue ghost is the aggressive one??

I don't know how it ended up getting switched in the hack but it throws me off.

I have no clue how to do this myself but thought maybe one of u wouldn't mind looking and trying.

    Thanks

  6. Stella for 2600 and don't know for other systems.

I don't understand all the anti-emulator feelings. It is so much easier and convenient than using my Vader or Six Switcher and for those who like the original joystics etc they work fine on Stella with an adapter.

  7. Okay...so where in Nukey's 4K PacMan? I'd love to see it.

Nukey did 8K Pac Man which is a major revision of the Atari version.

4K Pac Man was written by Dennis Debro and is an entirely new version programmed from scratch.

  8. The Vader was my first system which I got in '82 and I still have it.

It wasn't until I got a light sixer and four switch woody that I noticed my Vader seems to have more RF interference problems than other models. I can't even play Pac Man Arcade and a few other homebrews on the vader without lines and wiggles but they work fine on older consoles.

  9. Tonight after my daughter went to her mothers house I recieved a call from her mom telling me that my baby had said something weird in the bathtub. I asked what my daughter said and she repeated the following

""Bat he flew and took everyone stuff away...a cup and a yellow key and a black key"

AWESOME!! I smiled from ear to ear.
