  1. Another minor pet peeve of mine is those selling 2600 games but add 5200 and 7800 to their title, there are 2000 Atari 7800 listings but have are 2600 titles. Groan. I now have another Grey Label Ballblazer for my 7800 collection. How rare is the black text version of the 7800 Realsports Baseball? I got one with a sad shape box for $10 but am looking for one in better condition.
  2. Here's another eBay clown to watch out for, journey6432 He bought a sealed copy of Pac-Man for the 2600 from me, the "Not For Resale" Version, then left negative feedback claiming the game was opened, the warranty card removed, and the game was resealed. When I inspected it, old glue was still holding it together. I took lots of pics of the game. It did not appear to be opened. At any rate, why buy a sealed copy of a game like this when you can get a CIB opened for half the price?
  3. No, he's from Connecticut. At one time he was in the AtariAge Marketplace FB forums but dropped out right after he f'ed up my order. He changed it to rickydee862009
  4. Once you go Edladdin you never go baddin? (I know, booooo...) Anyways, there's nothing I can say that no one else hasn't already said. Since buying an Edladdin Super Twin, I never use anything else on my 7800. I do still have my Seagull 78 just in case but nothing beats playing fast Ms Pac Man on the 7800 with the Edladdin controller.
  5. I have seen far more red labels than silver labels in the wild. I've seen worse. I'm not fond of that LQQK or L@@K, people who do that are usuaklly those jacking up rices, now every Adventure game has "Ready Player One" added to it.
  6. I still plan on buying a copy, and I buy the boxes when I can. I do like having the boxes on my shelf. It is simply the fact that I don't make much money so I have to buy my games one or two at a time every couple of months, and I have been more focused on the 7800. I finally bought every 7800 AA offering. There should be some kind of special achievement for that. LOL
  7. He goes by Rickydee86209 on eBay.
  8. I'm not sure if I should share this or not, but I had bought some Atari manuals from a guy selling them for a buck plus shipping on the eBay site, he started selling on the AtariAge Marketplace FB page. I ordered a few manuals from him through FB, but he never sent them, and even had them relisted on the FB page. When I PM'ed him about it he gave me a number of excuses, but at least he gave me my money back. I don't think he's selling on the FB page but he's listing on eBay again and when I bid on the item, he cancelled the listing as "no longer available for sale" then relisted it five minutes later. Maybe he just has a personal problem with me or something since I had the audacity to actually ask what happened to my order. Not sure if that would raise red flags with anyone else but I know I'll never buy from this guy again.
  9. I just bought one off eBay. I'll have to test it out when I have time. I like the nurse lady, though.
  10. Only have 2 CIBs left to sell Still seeking Tank Command
  11. Here is my current list of Atari manuals for sale: MANUALS SOLD OUT
  12. I have 6 more loose manuals to add to my sale: 43. Race (Sears) 44. Arcade Pinball (Sears) 45. Commando Raid 46. Squeeze Box 47. Defender (Sears) 48. Vidtec Warrant Card No luck on Tank Command so far. Every time eBay has one, I get outbid at the last moment
  13. This is based on my experience growing up with the 7800. I really didn't have too many 7800 games. Besides those listed below I discussed having, I only had Dig Dug (awesome), Food Fight (awesomer), and F-18 Hornet (loved it but I sucked at it, never completed a mission in my life). Even with my 7800, I only had 10 actual 7800 games out of my 100 game collection, the rest were 2600 games. My only other gaming experience at that time was arcade games and a few games on the school Apple IIe green screens. I received my 7800 as a Xmas gift in 87, it wasn't until 1990 I received a NES, but I still played my Atari on occasion until controllers became hard to find outside flea markets. The Non Super Games Pole Position II - I suck at driving games but I feel this was a great pack in game for the system. Xevious - My absolute favorite Atari 7800 game of all time. Dungeon Stalker's battling for the Title, though. Ms Pac Man - I only wished it had fast Ms Pac but I played this a lot. Centipede - I liked it but enjoyed Atari 2600 Millipede more than this. Joust - I hated the arcade game and thus never bothered with the home version Desert Falcon - One of my favorites growing up. Choplifter! - I liked it, managed to get a perfect score as a kid once, wish I could replicate that for my highscore.com profile. Deluxe Asteroids - I asked my mom for the 7800 version, she got me the 2600 version instead. Heh. The Super Games Karateka. I never got into fighting games until Street Fighter 2. Never even heard of this one as a kid, but I would have pronounced it kuh-rot-ick-uh, not kare-a-tee-kah like the ad. Winter Games. The game that broke my 7800 Prolines, relegating me to using a trackball for weeks before I could afford new controllers. I had a lot of fun with it (my mom bought it for me as a get well gift for the flu I got when the Calgary olympics was on TV, so it got me excited for the game), and in head to head, I could probably kick your butt at Biathalon. Skyfox. Never had it for obvious reasons. Still better than Slippy the Choad from that other "Fox" game. Impossible Mission. Thankfully I didn't have this one. At least you can't claim Impossible Mission was false advertising since it is actually impossible. One on One Basketball. I suck at Basketball, be it on Atari or real life, I just played it to smash the backboard and watch the grumbling janitor with the pushbroom and the marching broom stache. Summer Games. I didn't own it Ball Blazer; Played it an awful lot, got so good, I could kick Droid 9's ass with the 2600 Trakball in under 2 minutes Hat Trick. I didn't have it as a kid
  14. I'm reading Journey of Snail now. As was mentioned on here, it is a novel on a cart, but it does have a spot or two where you can choose how the story unfolds. It should be noted there is foul language and sexual themes in the story for those of you who don't like that sort of thing.
  15. For what is worth, I likely bought a copy of Endless Snow from the same eBay seller and it works fine on my late model 7800.
  16. I'm in search of the fabled Tank Command for the 7800 to complete my original NTSC game collection. I have a lot of Atari stuff I'd be willing to part with as part of a trade as well as pay cash, maybe we can do a mix of both, since it is hard to cough up the $300-$500 on average the Tank Command games go for these days. Of course, I'm looking to sell games too. Below is a list of items I'm offering, price does not include shipping, but I've been selling games on the AtariAge Marketplace on FB for a while and have quite a few satisfied customers. I do ship anywhere, just keep in mind all my stuff is NTSC unless otherwise noted. I also shave a few bucks off total price to anyone who buys a bunc of stuff at once. I strive to provide the cheapest shipping rates possible. CIB Atari 2600 Games (priced individually) Below is all remaining 6. Cosmic Creeps $15 17. Solar Fox $15 Atari 2600 manuals ALL SOLD OUT
  17. Now if someone could make the Dogbone NES controller into a 7800 controller. I am happy with my Edladdin Super Twin but there are times I'd like to have a nice 7800 pad. The Genesis pads are okay but NES controllers just feel nicer than Genesis pads.
  18. For what it is worth, I am actually decent at this game. It is a bit hard to explain how to play it but AtariAge does have the 7800 manual up on the website that can explain the controls better than me.
  19. Adventure (if the 5200 can get an Adventure, why not a 7800?), Haunted House, Star Wars Arcade, Keystone Capers (could add something like a slide/ crawl function) On the Homebrew side, Anguna & Ature
  20. I got mine the other day, and I thought the letter accompanying the patch was hilarious. I might actually go out and get this framed!
  21. I bought one and I like it, but I was wondering if someone could post the graphics of the actual label, the label to my copy got damaged so I want to get a replacement label made
  22. Black Widow. We need more games that utilize the Edladdin Super 78 Twin. Also, a Tempest that uses the Driving controller. Mr. Do would be nice too.
