Finally ALL games for the SUPER CASSETTE VISION are now playable on the real system with these flashcarts. main reason why retroclouds did most likely ask this, is the fact that the ULTIMATE cartridge (https://team-europe.blogspot.com/2020/09/tomy-tutorpyuuta-ultimate-multicart.html) is fully working on the Japanese TUTOR (which i used for developing it). But on the American Tutor you can just play the 32kb games with it...all other games do not start. I think it's the BASIC, which is included in the American Tutor's...and i most likely map the 8kb/16kb games on the same area... therefore the ULTIMATE cartridge is so far only for the Japanese Tutor owners interesting...all others will have to use the three carts.

That's true! It makes currently no sense to buy this upgraded version, if you already have the first versions at home. So far the only main difference is that it combines all three parts (8kb/16kb cart + 32kb cart + adapter) in one single cartridge. Btw. i will still have the other carts available too...

i reversed the PS-IO Switchboard for myself, as i needed to use my PS-IO on another PS1 console. As i did not want to wait another 4 weeks for the PS-IO board, i just made one myself! I even did an extended Version (which has a PS1 modchip included on the board). Played today 5hours with it and it works really nicely. PS-IO Switchboard (like the original): Extended Version (including MM3.Modchip): This is not only a clean solution, if you need a modchip inside your PS1, it also saves you two wires to solder... i have three pieces left, so if anyone needs one, just write me.

NO, the RAM-Chip is not implemented with these carts! So saving is not possible! Basically as i would need to have one of these cartridges here, to study how the RAM-Chip is integrated/connected into the system. And as it's nearly impossible to get one of those carts, i don't think i will add this feature into these Multicarts any time in the near future.

i just played threw all games (each game for at least 10 Minutes) on these multicarts...and i found 2 games, which are not working with this cartridge-designs. It's "Pole Position II" and "Dragon Slayer"...both use extra 8kb RAM inside their original cartridges, which is not supported here... So basically it's a 28in1 Multicart and 3in1 Multicart afterwards...

Hey Rolo, Nice to have two solutions! As some people asked me about the games on the cartridges. Here are the DIP-settings and gamelists:

It's done...new Multicarts for the Super Cassette Vision are finished! Here are the first prototypes, which work perfect! To keep the design simple i choose to make two different cartridges. 1. Multicart has ALL available 8kb, 16kb, 32kb and 64kb games included + the two BIOS-Dumper-Tools (Homebrew to dump your Super Cassette Vision bios) == 29 games 2. Multicart for the four 128kb games. Both carts fit into the original cartridge-cases. The 29in1 Multicart will cost 25eur, the 4in1 Multicart will cost 20eur. Shipping (worldwide) will cost 13eur...no matter how much carts you take. PreOrders are now opened, so just write me a message if you need some. I will ship out the finished carts in late/end of may.
