    Super Maria Sisters is for sale, so it should be on the list (2006). How many people are actually going to buy it is a whole other matter entirely.

    Which introduces another interesting question:

    Is "for sale" good enough or shouldn't at least one copy be sold? And how about games that where never sold but only available as gifts/bonus?

     

    My question is, how many games does the AA store sell of certain good games?

    A good rule of thumb(or maybe not?), would be a game that sells 50 special edition games, then sells 50+ regular release games at AA or some other online venue.Then you could assume the title has gained homebrew status by 1-being programmed,not hacked & 2-has sold 100+copies, thus making it popular.

    Game instructions for Atari brand water-

    1)open water with cap pointed up towards ceiling,or your game will be of shorter duration.

    2)drink water,drink slowly for longer lasting game, or drink quickly for short game play.

    3)when all water is gone,from drinking or evaporation,your Atari Water gaming experience is over.

    I've collected both loose and boxed games.First I got the loose games,then got the 'bug' to get the boxed ones as well.So you might end up with two collections as it where,which is cool in a way,but expensive in other ways;money wise or GF/Wife wise.

    This worries me as well. After all, there are a very finite amount of these carts and the homebrew market is growing pretty quickly. It's like the whole fossil fuels thing all over again.

     

    Are we going to see this bumper sticker in the near future?

    You don't need to go back - you need to go forward.

     

    Years from now when scores of crazy old men are found piled under classic gaming refuse like old cat ladies, you'll be able to get those rares dirt cheap! :P :lol:

     

    So exercise and eat right so you can outlast the other collectors :)

     

    Great theory,if we could just stop these young 15 to 25 year olds getting into the hobby we might have a chance...

    I'm taking the games with me, no ones getting them;a coffin made of game cartridges?

    Very nice, I still need 7 more boxed Zellers games to finish off my collection.

    I only need five more boxed.I got all mine at atari2600.com.The boxes are not much to talk about, just blank red boxes.

    The same type of penny is currently going for over $8000.Wish I had that kind of cash.Of course it still cost more than a penny for the mint to make a penny,they need to just phase it out.(then I can sell all my pennies for $1000 each!)

    Another thing that is annoying is the fact that your character can not reverse as fast as the ghosts(it seems to glide a bit before reversing),so following the red or purple ghosts is not a good idea at all.

    I can barely get to level 3 and consider it lucky to get to four; I can hardly get to level two without losing a life.Whenever I need a lesson in humility I just play Pac-Man Jr!

    I thought from the thread title that this would be like a challenge to make a "worse" pac-man.The game that won this contest would be determined by just how quickly the player cries and/or throws the joystick at the tv screen in a fit of rage.

    The Chinese Connection mentioned above is priceless.

    My two all time favorite "studies" are as follows--

    1)A study was done to see just how long it takes ketchup to ooze down an incline/ramp.

    2)A 12 year study on cancer that came to the conclusion that cancer is caused by cells that do not function correctly-duh!

    As for violence, I just read today of a gangland shoot-out in Sacramento,CA in a major trafic signal intersection.None of the gang members were shot but a woman sitting at the light had all three of her kids shot(they are still alive though).What we need to do to get rid of these gangbangers is send them to a shooting range so maybe they could kill eachother and not innocent bystanders.All three kids that got shot probably have played vidio games, I'm sure according to people like Hillary, thats why they got shot.

    I hear yeah, I was sniped four times, by .01 cent, on Time Pilot cartridge (not even boxed) a few years back.It can get irritating after a while, but I figure that with enough patience I will eventually get what I wanted, once the 4 or 5 people that also want the same item have theirs.

    More recently I forgot to bid on the MASH boxed game with t-shirt; it only went for $35.Douh!
