  1. I've got all three Mythicon games for the 2600 shrinkwrapped;none of 'em make any buzzing noises while kept sealed up.
  2. On a positive note..War Room was the only game released by a company named Probe 2000,which was an off-shoot of Magnivox/Phillips;The company that made the Oddysey2.Probe 2000 as going to release games for the 2600,but the crash and a mysterious "chip shortage" put a stop to that. I bought a complete boxed copy of War Room, just for "historical" value.
  3. Is the Master Builder cart NTSC or PAL?I'm watching the Guardian auction, but $100 for a loose cart, would hate to know how much a boxed copy would go for.
  4. Can the switch-banking be done on repro carts?,or is it just too much work.
  5. First saw this auction when it was $1.19.I bumped it up to $24.So how pricy will it get then? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...7&category=3528
  6. Congrats! I've got 13 of those games boxed and all the loose games except for qberts qubes. And after looking at this picture,I can say for sure that the boxes I do have do not look as good. So how many banks did you have to rob?
  7. I just had a great transaction with ULTRAtwit/scott lindberg. Finally got myself a copy of Boing!,among other things.
  8. Shouldn't the car be saying something too,in that photo?
  9. Still only $53,I'm watching this item.If the price shoots up over $100,I'm out.And yeah I noticed the label too.Nice
  10. Pitfall Harry wrote,"Do you know who pizza-box guy is?Maybe-just maybe-he's insane" I will not be having any pizza's delivered for a long time...
  11. I had about 90-100 games, but later I threw away shipping boxes that had the boxes for the games and my copies of atariage magazines&other paperwork.I had a family friend who worked for atari and was able to go to their 'store' and get me stuff alot cheaper;just before everything got really cheap at the stores. Then like alot of people I briefly"grew up" and did not get any games again until 2001.

    Weird ape scene

Check out the 'revenge of the apes' contest in the "contests section" of this message board.
  13. You were able to move the torch around in the original proto too,so if moving it doesn't bring up anything else, then no EE.

    32 in 1 pal

You can pick up a loose copy here; http://www.best-electronics-ca.com/2600.htm
  15. How about the white label/pal games?I got some about a month ago,but missed getting Wing War;it got to expensive.
  16. OK, I'll take a boxed one too,if any left.PM me if there are any.
  17. Bummer.I paid alot more than $10 for all those games;and had to get three copies of Frostbite until I got one that worked well.So if it makes ya feel better, this guys copy of frostbite does not look like it will work well either.
  18. I got my copy of this on ebay with a 'buy it now' price of $40 a while back.
  19. I can get up to level 9 on space treat-original release. Can only get to level 4 on Thrust.Once the walls are gone on Marble Craze, the game is pretty much over for me;did get as far as level 6 once. Also,if these homebrewers keep making games, I will never retire...
  20. These are not too rare on ebay.Seems to be a lot of copies of Boxing,so I'd say that one is the most common of the blue labels. The hardest one to find,as I see it anyway,is Pitfall.
  21. Oh great! There's even more label variants..I just had to ask...Thanks for the info.
  22. Any difference at all in rarity between the label that has the different colored cars & the label that just has black and white cars.?Anyone know the story behind this;I don't see any difference in copyright dates on the cart or box;unless I got the same box twice via ebay.FYI,the picture here at AA is of the b&w cars on label.
  23. I like pitfall harry's version of events. I'd hate to be Larry Bryan,"$250 is too rich for me"
