Beware, there is a fake label for blade runner out there somewhere;just looked for the link and can't find it...just saw it two days ago.

First of all, when I first saw the 'snipe your bid' username on ebay,I had a good laugh. Second of all, damn it, now here is another item to watch for on ebay.So ,no I do not have this item...

I'm still kicking myself for not buying all the grey and white boxed games when I was at CGE02.Of course, now I'm missing one of the white boxed games from one of the "pak's"....I do have grey boxed versions of volleyball, brain games&canyon bomber. It will be cool when this is all listed at the AA database someday.

I already have those 2600 homebrews ,but if these items sell really cheap I'll be pissed off!(not because the seller would lose out,but because I would have originally paid too much for the items in the first place)For that reason,I don't even want to watch these auctions.

Which ones ? I may just have them. I'm still missing these(that I know of,since sometimes there are "new" sears picture label finds): adventure,arcade pinball,basketball,cannon man,canyon bomber,dodger cars,missile command,night driver,(a replacement of)submarine commander.OK, so it's only nine carts that I'm watching for.

I just got Baseball, sears picture label, in the mail yesterday. There's still about 15 more that I keep watching ebay for.

I'm not looking at an optical illusion,am I?Those boxes are all different sizes, right?

"These outfits are lame, man" "No, they're the same, but different, man" "These are waiters outfits, man" Cheech & Chong

Around the time of the vidio game crash all the companies just put whatever labels they had in stock on the games, thus adding to the confusion. For example, there are white label Activision games that are NTSC(north amer tv's),even though the white label usually meant that the game was in PAL(european tv's) format.I always check the games out to make sure which is which. As far as Atari labels go,there are seven Pong Sports labels;label variant collecting can drive some people crazy.I personally concentrate on collecting third party label variants,it seems easier.

Looks like there will be one hell of a bidding war on ebay for a boxed copy of Cosmic Commuter(which I am also missing).I'm also waiting to get a copy of checkers in the box;then that should be it for boxed games for Activision for me;it has also taken me about a year to get them all.Now back to topic,I have not played either game in ages, but now I gotta look into this...

I've got TX chainsaw manual;next time I buy stuff from the AA store I'll send it along so it can be scanned(my scanner here is way too old to be of any use).

This would have been even funnier if I had read it at 3am(which I usually do),instead of 3pm.Great comics as usual!

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View...&sort=3&rows=25 Atari 2600 Asterix related vhs movies;never knew they existed...

I've got a 'Pesco' frig magnet from (the now gone..?)Hozer Vidio. So,yeah this can be done, and, yes,I'd buy some.

Paying for my copy of Berzerk with loose change; There was one pissed off store clerk and one happy atari fan. also When my father bought my brother and I a copy of pac-man,and we did not have the heart to tell him the game was crap.(what was the price then? $60?)

only 17!?

Looks like Atari was trying to squeeze a little "BIT" more out of the 2600 scene. The hard part of this investigation will be trying to find people "from the day" that worked for these pirate companies;someday we will get a break with 'someone that knew someone'.Until then, keep cracking open those carts to see who is hiding what. The only thing I wonder about,is if Taiwan got 'too expensive',and some of the pirate companies were in China; When did Nixon open that country up to the US?1974?(So,yes,you can blame something else on Nixon!)

Oystron worth getting?YES!The game is very unique.

That "hookup.gif" picture is exactly the way my atari is hooked up,with the addition of having the "upgrade kit" wire with the gold connector on the end.The upgrade kit is still out there on ebay(not my product, but works great).
-
Yes, but we all do have fun playing the vidio games as well as playing the 'game' of life too.
-
Miner II has some better boards IMHO - a bit more challenging I wouldnt spend big bucks getting either one (except II is rare which I have ) That about sums it up..all the rare games are so crappy.2600 versions of Miner I&II and Springer are all very difficult.

Only $36.00!!Nice auction(for the winner anyway)
