  1. Send me an e-mail at dean@multimods.com and I'll hook you up cheaper than any of those options.
  2. Cool! Will definitely have to check this out. How are prices there?
  3. Of all the fighters on the NGPC, I think Last Blade is the best. Captures the mood of the original game and the controls are probably the most consistent. And you have to get Neo Turf Masters Pocket. It is easily the best golf game you can get, not just on the NPGC.
  4. Congrats on joining the cool kids club The TG16 is best for shmups (especially the PC Engine imports), but as others have noted, it has a lot of fun, unique titles as well. For me, the essentials: Bonk's Adventure/Revenge: Get them in order, but they're both great. Funky platforming and bright colors, clever characters, and huge replay value (it's relatively short, not very difficult, and easy on the eyes). Blazing Lazers: For me probably the best shooter on the system. Not nearly as hard as R-Type (which though has beautiful graphics), not nearly as expensive as Soldier Blade. Great chip sound. Alien Crush: I'm one of those that prefer this pinball to Devil's Crush, though both are worthy. The music is great and the bonus screens I just feel are better. Time Cruise is quite good too but a totally different experience to the Crush games. World Class Baseball: Dirt cheap and a quick play. Think RBI Baseball with much much much better graphics and a bit more sophisicated gameplay. Bomberman '93: This is THEE multiplayer game, for any system. Get a TurboTap and 4 other controllers and find 4 friends/family members. Even my sister-in-law and mother-in-law will play this one if we fire it up. Much better than the original version and to me not as hokey as Bomberman '94 (PC Engine import only). That's just a quick list. You should check out this site for great reviews/write-ups on both the US and Japanese games: www.thebrothersduomazov.com It's not mine, but it's a friends and one of the more respected members of the TG/PCE community.
  5. Being a Turbo freak myself, I know a lot of people have given up on the Express because of the sound thing. BUT, it's only a few leaking caps that causes it and a 10 minute fix. Don't let that stop you! Yes I know, but my screen now takes a good 45 minutes to warm up and display anything at all. Its really not worth my time to fix the speaker when I can just wear headphones. The video problem you're having is also likely the result of a dying cap. There's a single one that causes the problem you're having. The screen starts up "on" but no image, yes?
  6. Wanted to post that Tony's a cool guy. Met up today to get the system, just as advertised stuff. Thanks T.
  7. Sent you a PM a couple days ago. I'm local and interested in it.

  9. Only reason it took 20 tries is because the PCB wasn't straight inside remember. Damn Atari carts fastened by one point of contact
  10. Hi back at ya D I know you are manufacturing these on the side. Come on now, admit it....... 917837[/snapback] lol, I wish. I do make/manufacture superguns on the side and you know how well those sold at CGE.
  11. Hey folks, I was the guy selling them at CGE. Nice to meet some of you. To shed some light on the situation: I sold 6 sets of the Ikari and Motorodeo carts at the show and now one set afterwards. That is all I had on the Ikari, but I still have some of the Motorodeo carts left. As some know, a stock of these was found and has now dried up. Those that have made it out seem to be all there is, with the original contact having eventually sold his supply it seems (and we have little reason to believe he'd be lying since he's been moving the stock for a while now without incident or question). All told there seems to have been in the neighborhood of ~50-60 or so total of each title across all parties that managed to get some. All carts from this "find" have tested out as NTSC without fail. So as it stands, I have no more Ikari and still have some super nice Motorodeo left. The only way I could get any more is my contact that acted as the middle man in the effort as he kept a few of the Ikari carts himself. But as said, and a few people at CGE saw the box I had, I have no Ikari carts left. Will more turn up? Another warehouse of 1000's? Highly unlikely since it's been, what, 15 years now? And this is the only find of this kind so far. Oh, and to clarify, they were $250 each and $400 for the set at the show. Same price for everyone there. I'd consider letting the Motorodeo go for $200 plus shipping as that's all there is, no more sets (unless my friend decides to part with the last few Ikari, but that isn't happening any time soon). And hi there Lee
