  1. I looked at my Paypal receipt from my previous Razion MVS CE order and it was exactly $650 USD (at the time the exchange rate was less favorable).

The plot thickens! The seller is sweetening the deal by throwing in additional games. I figured $650 USD was a fair deal. I mean this was a CE version after all and I'm buying shockboxes for the rest of the games I get from NG: Dev Team anyways. So depending on what I'm offered here, this may actually turn out. We shall see. I'll keep you posted. Worst case it doesn't work out and I simply wait for 2016/2017 for the reprints. I already have the money for Last Hope and Gunlord ready to go once I see the pre-orders up, so there's no stopping me from just waiting it out :D

    Hi guys,

Good News! Razoola announced that a small amount of Crossed Swords 2 for the MVS is still available. If these sell out quickly reprints will be available in the future.

  3. Hi guys,

Just received my copy of Crossed Swords 2 for the Neo-Geo AES. Razoola and Jeff Kurtz did a great job with it and used the best looking used carts and snap cases available for it.

    Anthony...

Got mine too, both MVS and AES. Wow, this feels like a new release back in the 90s. Now back to playing more of this.

  4. I ordered the MVS copy. I really want to play this game and this will at least endorse Jeff's and Razoola's efforts in certain ways.

Without saccing the AES carts I would've endorsed this project by buying an AES copy but both cart shells and snaplock cases will be used so there's really no point getting one by destroying existing games. In fact, I would've paid more for brand new cart cases and shells, didn't Jeff just find ways of getting new ones?

  5. Hi guys,

Tonight, I'm playing "Zed Blade" (Operation Ragnarok) for the MVS.

A Neo-Geo home version was announced and completed, but never released.

    Anthony...

This game, along with Fight Fever and Gururin in 1994 was when SNK start skipping AES releases, realizing the high cost of making AES games and they were concerned that those games may not sell well, if at all. I like the music in Zed Blade but graphic wise there are some flaws in the background setting.

This was from an auction on Ebay that went on for the usual 6 days without the "buy it now" feature. It went for $192.

    Anthony:

You're lucky to get it for slightly above $200, this is holiday plus he's selling all of his collection at once. I wanted to get a few games from him (including PC-Engine and other systems) but he insisted having Paypal account from the bidder. Never understood why people would rather get fleeced by eBay/Paypal. A few games could've fetched far more if he allowed bidders like me, oh well.

    Did you see this item?

Good god, I have a few and would love to have a few more but at this price?

  7. Looks like a game in the past called "In The Hunt".

If the developer is serious about publishing it, let's hope Neobitz takes care of the publishing else more home carts will be sacced.

    Hi guys,

Here's something interesting to watch. A Youtube subscriber by the name of "NeoHomeBrew" is developing a homebrew submarine shooter for the Neo-Geo. The graphics look nice so far, and the developer is making progress with it. Check it out. he has 4 videos of them so far!

  8. My Knight's Chance AES has arrived, since I can't insert images from computers here I can direct people to my post

This thing is gorgeous, it's no longer a single color on the side panel. Seems like both NGDEV and Neobitz are perfecting the art of making AES games, bad for our wallets though.

Thank you for the update Vince! I didn't hear much after the 10/27 announcement! I wondered where he found all the cart shells and snap cases as well. Maybe he got them from David G?

I felt that ever since the development of the CMVS, the demand for the MVS games became the choice for gamers and collectors.

    Anthony...

Wait until someone start reproducing CMVS and AES like Retron 5, instead of collecting/modifying existing motherboards, new systems will be cloned. IN that case even MVS game prices will be going off the roof just like SNES/NES.

  10. Darn! Somebody is already selling the USA/EU version of Last Hope Pink Bullets for the AES for over $1,000 dollars!

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Neo-Geo-AES-Last-Hope-Pink-Bullets-Collectors-Edition-US-EU-Version-NEW-/231382204907?pt=DE_PC_Videospiele&hash=item35df7441eb

    Anthony...

Not so fast, it's the seller's asking price, let's see if anyone will bite. When I was looking for Gunlord and Fast Strikers, I was lucky to get them for around $750 each shortly after NGDEV shipped their preorders.

Tokyo Toy Factory has the last few new NGDEV AES titles for almost $2000, if someone must have them, they're there if you're willing to put down the money.

  11. Hi guys,

This morning, I decided to take out Ragnagard for the AES! This game was also on the MVS, AES, Sega Saturn as well! Ragnagard was developed by a company called System Vision and was published by Saurus! The game is interesting and a nice to have in your collection! having a 2.5D type feel for a system that is known for 2D gaming!

    Anthony...

    Also on Neo-Geo CD.

Just to avoid confusion with another Neo-Geo game

Ragnagard (JP version Shin Oh Ken)

Zed Blade (JP version Operation Ragnarok)

I have seen confusion between those 2 games frequently.

  12. I ordered mine too (JP CE).

The last 3 releases (Gunlord, Neo XYX, and Razion) have different artwork for JP AES. The Eng versions just use MVS CE artwork, which I also collect.

    Hi guys,

Here is the latest on Razion from NGDEVTEAM,

    Dear customers,

the pre-selling for Razion AES is now open.
