  1. Well, it's incredible to know how big the memory can be. I played every of the 4000 games on Atari, and I can remember visually the games. It take me some extra time to remember the name, but I can do it thanks to Atarimania, Fandal or Gury sites. Well, another little capture....
  2. I used CC65 for about a year. It was a nice language to develop games. I published the source code on CC65 from my Plague Attack game, maybe you find useful. One of the hard things on CC65 is to define appropriate data with boundary Atari limits. Plague Attack source code post
  3. Freaky Factory Freaky factory download
  4. That's right Miker. Your turn now, oh don't think about a polish game... that will be so hard to remember.
  5. Yes! I'm impressed by the quick guess! I tried to pick something obscure, and Time Bandit isn't a title that's talked about too often. Maybe it's more popular than I thought! I discovered it just recently and thought it was a fairly nice entry in the "snake" genre. Ok, don't forget to give me my point. This time I'll try with something easy, I think.
  6. Sure, why not? I'll leave rep points for other correct guesses. Here's my submission: Time Bandit ???
  7. I prefer the pokey version too. Sounds very strong and solid. It's a pity that some part of music was missed, i guess because the game should be hold on 48K Warhawk is fine on pokey.
  8. There is no way to get confused, there are points. 10 points for Tempest
  9. Congratulations Sal and team ! You have a very professional game and polished production. I had been surprised for the final music, it's cool ! I hope you win Kaz Kompo and show the American videogame spirit. Great work!
  10. Well, this is my list: 10. Tempest Xtreem (awesome production! should be a classic) 9. Nightshade (Usually I didn't take much for portings, but this one is extraordinary) 8. Loops DX (Very adictive game, cool graphics and interfase) 7. Ghastly Night (I love GnG) 6. Electro Maniac (I enjoyed a lot this game! it remember me one of my favorite game: Bounty Bob Strikes back) 5. Gilp (Very original) 4. Yars Revenge (A great 2600 classic) 3. Isora (Great logic game, if at least have more colors) 2. The Nutty Proffesor (simple, but adictive game, and my favorite C64 music on intro) 1. Space Arena (ok, i din't play this, but looks very fun) P.D. Sorry guys from Kolony, it seems it's a great game, but I can't play this game. I'm sure other users give the votes that deserve.
  11. Excellent work! looks fantastic! Your graphics is the best I've seen on text adevnture games, and the engine really is easy to use, very intuitive. Keep the good work!
  12. mmm... I remember RoF use keys L to land, M to go mothership, A to open airlock and other keys in order to control the ship. How was replaced on the 5200 version?
  13. O.k. probably it will be a pratical way. Yes I know that one (Integrator), but how I know wich Games aren't with Loading Screens? Why not someone Starts a Thread with this remakes, I'll also do some coontribution, but my A8 fever to see how un-released Games would/could look on A8 don't sttop me!... Greetins. José Pereira. I'm sure most of the Atarians appreciate this type of work (you can add your credits gfx on screen). For example you can start creating the intro for Zybex game. This is the intro on C64 Zybex. Zybex is one of the most popular games on Atari. I see the intro C64 version very fun to convert on Atari version.
  14. Jose, I apologize to say this, but most of Atari programmers easily have your ideas. Most of them know how G2F works and even have more ideas to extend the graphics that overpass the G2F capabilities. So, basically, I think you say things on the air. If you are planning to help the scene I recommend you should practice adding G2F intros for old games software, then you will be more productive. Here is a PC software that mix a XEX Atari game with a XEX G2F file. In this way you can practice with G2F techniques and recreate old game versions with his own graphic presentation. Integrator 3.01.zip Mario
  15. I have to congratulate for the software. Just today i was testing with 10 pictures, some of them C64 pictures, real pictures, HD pictures. The tool works very fine and get a good work. Off course need post manual adjustements on G2F, but it's interesting to see how can the Atari improve the quality on pictures changing colors on DLIs. I feel the tool should use the 5th color, but I guess that will be so hard for an algorithm. Greetz Mario P.D. Maybe you can add a small verification on filename source. The tool works even if you give a non exist filename.
  16. Actually I don't understand what is supossed to be the technical difference on APAC mode between NTSC and PAL. I read on some place on the forum NTSC could not do the APAC mode, but I always had seen the APAC mode on any TV.
  17. Some shots could be useful to examine how this program works on NTSC.
  18. from camera, it looks better than video shows.
  19. A real NTSC 130XE playing Project M http://www.4shared.com/file/150501469/4b80fb1f/pm15_realntsc.html Well, it seems very near to the emulator. There are some differences on the colors because of NTSC palette. I'm not sure if the screen represents 128 or 256 colors. However, who cares? it looks great.
  20. 128K maybe, but no more....
  21. It look fantantic. There is a good appearence of deep on those corridors. Inmediatly I remember Stonekeep PC game.
