  1. I had this dream, thought you guys might find it interesting. "I was bored wandering the Wal*Mart alone. I noticed this mini game convention area that was showcasing games and such. I saw this one area that had a crt tv that was silver with an Atari 2600 hooked up to it. They were playing a homebrew port of Worms Armegeden and had the box showcased on the 2600. There were two people playing the game. The game itself showed this single screen stage with the two worms. It was made up of flo...

And it was made of flojomojo?

  2. I got done modding my NES Frontloader to disable that annoying CIC chip so I can play my Famicom imports through the adapter without the flashing light. The adapter ether has a fake CIC chip that crapped out, or does'int even have one.

    1. DragonGrafx-16

      DragonGrafx-16

I had the same problem with mine. I did disable it. I installed a Blinking Light Win later on for the better 72pin even though it would have disabled the CIC as well. Oh well lol

Next mod is the expansion audio mod.

      teh_supar_hackr

@DragonGrafx-16 I've been wanting this expantion for your NES that actually uses the Expansion port on the bottom that lets you use Famicom extensions and controllers on the nes, I'm wanting to test it out with the Famicom Keyboard, the Famicom Cassette Tape, and a copy of Excitebike that's NTST to see if that version still has the saving to audio in tact.

  3. I recently got a huge lot with mostly playstation related stuff. You can see this on my Twitter post here: https://twitter.com/teh_supar_hackr/status/1098438241081012225

  4. Does anyone here have a GBC In-Store Demo Cart for sale? The model number for the cart in case there's multable gbc demo carts is "dis-cgb-adme-usa".

  5. I've been wanting a Sega Power Base Converter, but can't seem to find one cheeper than $80. Anyone have one there willing to sell? (That or a Sega Master System?)

@deepthaw I do know that the mini adapter does'int support games on a card (unless I do some modding). Thanks anyways.

Or just get a Sega Genesis and an Everdrive cartridge. Works just as well.

    4. teh_supar_hackr

      teh_supar_hackr

@firebottole I already have a sega genisis, but not an Everdrive. I might get that or a Mini Power Base Converter, whichever one I remember to get first.

  6. I don't get why adventure has rased it's price after that stupid movie Ready Player One came out, this is very annoying as now I can only find the cartrage for at least $20 or more, which sucks. Does anyone have a copy for less than this that I can get?

(sigh) I feel your pain. After that lame Tron sequel, the price for Tomytronics Tron went through the roof and hasn't come back down since. And for THAT movie! Yeesh.

    3. AtariAdventure

      AtariAdventure

I saw one on AtariAge Marketplace for 12$, but its the cheapest one I can find. This really sucks for a game that was so massively produced (And almost common). Look at the prices people are asking for a SEALED copy of Swordquest EarthWorld, the most common game of the Swordquest series!!!!

    4. cybercylon

      cybercylon

This price gouging is still going on? Maybe the recent BR/DVD release has kept the prices up. Hope they go down at some point.

  8. Does anyone know where I can download Atari 2600 sounds from games (other than sounds resource, they have no 2600 sounds I'm looking for)

      Keatah

Have you considered making your own if you need a certain exact sound.

@Keatah Yeah, something like a death sound

  9. 'm making a game that I'm calling Fast Food Vengeance, a side scrolling shooter where you go through diffrent generations killing things with your puke. I don't have much of a plot, but I've been working on it. Found here: https://gamejolt.com/games/fastfoodvengeance/318690

The first snake game was BLOCKADE, I believe, in 1976 by Gremlin (Sega). The art mode of SURROUND is fun-- I need to get back to it for the Surround Artwork thread.

There seem to have been lots of snake games in the late 70s: a Midway game called "Checkmate" seems to have been a direct inspiration for Snafu on the Intellivision and Aquarius:
