  1. I think the stick is funny, but do everyone a favor: hire someone for your artwork.
  2. There's the Jerome Domurat initials version that was shown in some magazines, but never released: https://www.ataricompendium.com/game_library/unreleased/unreleased.html#rotla Could be you remembered this.
  3. Randy was full of sh*t. There's never ben a bugged release. Timing the paradrop with the branch can be tricky, though.
  4. Many thanks, Tempest. According to Stella, the two Going-Ups are not 100% identical. What exactly is the difference?
  5. You mean this one? https://www.atarimania.com/2600/files/vcs_domestic_field_service_manual.pdf Been there for ages.
  6. Here's everything: https://www.ataricompendium.com/game_library/atari_tube/atari_tube.html
  7. I'm usually not fond of reproduction labels (especially if they look exactly like the originals), but these I really like. They finally give the most boring looking VCS carts a face.
  8. This label variation is known for over 20 years. BTW: some non Atari corp. 1982 silver label Centipede carts also carried the orange fat font end label.
  9. Both formats are known to exist. Although clearly a factory mistake, I consider it a VCS label variation, because it differs from the Colecovision label. Yes, sometimes things can become confusing. Like this one, for example: https://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-bc-s-quest-for-tires_42898.html
  10. Nice! Could you make top view pictures of this box (front and back only) for the database? I still only have these crappy pictures: https://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-chuck-norris-superkicks_17348.html
  11. It's all added to the Atarimania database: https://www.atarimania.com/pgelstsoft.awp?system=2&type=G&country=22&step=200
  12. Nice! Did you notice any differences with the released versions?
  13. Yes: https://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-space-war_8031.html
  14. Around $10 I would say. It's not that rare. Some sellers just want to believe in their own made up label variations: https://www.ebay.com/itm/186195128506
  15. I don't know about the future of that specific place, but this will be - without a single doubt - the future of video game history preservation:
  16. Welcome back, Ben. Good to hear from you again.
  17. Probably a Taiwanese bootleg. Can you show a picture?
  18. I agree. Although my main focus when archiving ROMs is: When was it made? By who and for which company? Why was it cancelled? How to play it? and Can it be saved (and shared) for the future? But there is a story in between that's often interesting to tell and know as well: When, how and why did it get lost? and When, how and why was it found? As CaptainBreakout already explained: some people are not too eager to tell everything for various reasons and we have to respect that. I've learned this myself through the years: the harder you try to push on a 'story' button, the longer it sometimes takes to hear it, especially when people are not too willing to share it. Sometimes there's a lot of money involved, sometimes people made promises to others, sometimes there's legal and copyright stuff involved, sometimes people just don't want the attention.
  19. Not in my book. The Bear Game was an inhouse game concept. Something that was not really meant to be an official game. If you search for Demo in my collection, you'll find more of these concepts. Cheers, Rom
