It is the playoff version of the SwordQuest Fireworld Game for the Atari 2600. It is an EProm that we 50 finalists used in San Francisco to determine which of us would win the Chalice. The rooms and the challenges are the same as the consumer version, but the combination of objects that must be left in each room, and the onscreen clue solutions differ. I would be interested in purchasing a fully assembled ready to go cart dumper that would work with windows 10. Let me know if you or somebody that you know, can fix me up with one, and I'll make sure you are first to get a copy.

    This is great news, Rick.

And it's a very important cart to be dumped:

I'm sure Alex_79 can help you out:

If I have to start from scratch, loading roms onto an SD card, where's the best place.  The ones I have now are from Atarimania

That's the place to be for 1977-1992 ROMs.

I have a rare cart. I need an easy way to share it with the atari 2600 community. Can anybody help me?

Do you have a picture of your cart?

Thanks @Rom Hunter for pointing this one out. From Canada.

    Excellent!

Belongs in the series Boxing/La Boxe - Ice Hockey/Le Hockey sur Glace - Skiing/Le Ski and Tennis/Le Tennis.

But most collectors don't know this, because Kaboom! shows only one title on its label.

By far the rarest of the five.

He's on AA as well (user "rolenta").  ABC to VCS is good for brief reviews. Prior to this book, I used a similar book (The Midnight Tiger). I tend to like these types of books.  For me, each book provides enough info to help you decide if a certain game is worth getting/playing.

IMO The Midnight Tiger is not a recommendation.

Hello, all.  I am planning on doing a tribute video on my YouTube channel to Jerry Lawson and Edward Smith, two black video game programmers from back in the day.  I know this is something that I really frowned upon here, but I was wondering who has the rom for In Search of the Golden Skull?  I would like to use it for research purposes.  Even if you have some game footage, that would be great.  Please PM me if you would like to discuss this further.  Plus, if anyone has information on these two gentleman that you'd like to share, please let me know as I will credit you in both the video and the book.  Thank you!

Ask Scott Stilphen about information on Jerry Lawson.

    ROM ain't happening.

I know this is a very old thread......So I just found this hidden in my collection. How can I tell if it’s unique and needs to be shared/sold?

If you spot any differences between your lab loaner and the final release, it's worth the effort to dump the ROM.

Here are the other known to exist Joust lab loaners:

Some of them have been reviewed here:

    Hi all,

I was wondering if there were any significance to the different cart labels I've seen on Atari 2600 games before.  I have seen silver label, text label, and artwork labels on my own carts.  I have two Space Invaders, one text, and one with a label, and I never knew why.  Different year?  ROM versions?

And what's the deal with the numerous "## Tele-Games" cartridges I see on ebay all the time?  That auction itself has an 8 and a 12 Tele-Games cartridge.

The ROMs inside Sears cartridges are 100% identical to their Atari counterparts.

These three Sears titles are exclusive:
    http://www.atarimania.com/pgelstsoft.awp?system=2&type=G&publisher=33&original=1&step=200

The ROMs inside Atari games of the same title are 100% identical.

However, some original produced ROMs still contained a bug.

In that case, the ROM was fixed in a later production run.

    Superman for example:

I accidentally found file called Lode Runner on unknown website (Tried to find right one, lost track) and play on Stella, it contains all levels but only one true level, while level 2 thru 150 are practice only..  I already know one here on Atariage called Fool's Gold by Dionoid.

Let me know what's going on, thanks

    Do you have any pictures?

Does it look different from Dionoids game:
