For the outside, these pictures can help as a reference:

They're all 100% genuine.
For the inside, I think CPUWIZ can help you out.

Interesting how he controls the joystick at the top with just his thumb in the video. I don't think I've ever seen anyone else use the controller that way.
It's the only way I can play, even with round knobs.
My thumb is much quicker than my wrist.

Pretty sure Keystone Cannonball is one of their titles.
Great to see these three legends working together again.

I was born in 1975 My dad worked for Parker Brothers in Salem Ma from 1972 till the day they closed the factory and sent it all to china in 1993. He ran the bobst ( sp) machine.. basically 50% of every game box made from 1979 till the day they closed went through my dads machine while he was running it. He can open any parker brothers game box 79-93 and look at how the corners are seamed together and tell you if he or Barry the night guy did it.
somewhere in 82, 83 ish my dad started bringing home atari games. I never noticed it at first, I was like 8 or 9 but he would ask me questions about the games he would bring home.... My dad never cared for video games, so it always struck me a little odd... I had a really small black and white TV I won from cub scouts for selling candy.. EVERYONE loved my dad at Parker bros, so he took in the candy sales sheet and sold me enough in one day for the TV or the Bike prize lol ... I remember playing popeye on the B/W tv and finding a glitch in level 2 or 3 where the side shooting bullets couldnt be seen, or something like that and my dad told me that he told his boss, and they had 2 very old ladies in the office playing the game trying to get to the level to see the glitch.... I dont know why but that visual to this day still cracks me up.
one day he came home with 4 games. Montezuma's revenge, and then these three has special instructions I could not 1. play them with friends, 2. trade them to my friends 3. Talk about them to my friends... Frogger 2, Qberts cubes, and a labeless cart that had the ewok starwars game. I had to give back the ewok cart almost right away.. but I held onto frogger 2 and qberts cube... context is king here, at the time the game crash was starting but it wasnt a " game crash " back then, it was just atari wasnt selling anymore. right around this time you could get an atari for about 50$ and raider or ET for 1$... my dad started coming home with huge boxes of new atari parker bros games he dumpster dove for. Atari800 computers, those nice Wico microswitch red ball white button controllers. I had stacks of unopened games, I would trade with friends for non parker atari games, lol I had a nice racket going hahaKnowing then what I know now.... yikes, The stuff I should have kept that I lost or traded over the years.
I remember being 9 or 10 with that atari 800 keyboard thing and nothing else , no drives, nothing, not knowing basic, and thinking, this is junk and giving it away to a friend lol
.... and yes... we had every nerf thing you could think of ... i hate nerf ... those boomerangs never worked!!! and every version of monopoly made lol
Thanks for sharing this!

That means the original reference used by Wikipedia should be good enough if you look at the small print and ignore what the actual listing on the Atarimania page says. Perhaps pinging in @Rom Hunter here would help.
I think the problem here is that release years get confused with copyright years on the cart's front label.
Because of all the different label variations, our database uses the front label copyright year on their VCS game pages as a reference for collectors.
The copyright year on Super Breakout is 1978 in this page:
http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-super-breakout_7848.html
1987 on this page:
http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-super-breakout_18367.html
and 1988 on this page:
http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-super-breakout_18368.html
But it's official release year is 1981 for the Sears version and 1982 for the Atari version.
You can see this in my ROM collection as well:
Super Breakout (Paddle) (1982 - 1981) (Atari, Carol Shaw, Nick 'Sandy Maiwald' Turner - Sears) (CX2608 - 49-75165) ~

Or maybe split the Brazilian carts into a separate collection.
Yes, perhaps.
I really have to think this over.
Brazilian ROM dumps (especially the ones without logo or just a few bytes difference) are not very high on my priority list, to put it mildly.
These, on the other hand, are:
- Coco Nuts (Telesys) (PAL)
- Plate Mania (Home Vision) (PAL)
- Stargunner (Telesys) (PAL)
- Stronghold (CommaVid) (PAL)
- Topy (Home Vision) (PAL)
- X’Mission (Home Vision) (PAL)

I've always considered this revision of the Superman manual one of the best examples of "peak Atari manual". After this they diverged into the silver/gray versions that are a pain to clean up (still awesome inside though), but then it was posters (bleh for digitizing), the odd-sized Pengo/Crystal Castles/etc. ones, before finally devolving into black & white copies and the woefully sub-par 7800-like versions. When I get around to those later 7800-era releases, I'm planning on doing a set with color covers based on the box art just to do them some justice.
Also looking for international/multilanguage versions of Human Cannonball, Millipede (color), Miniature Golf, Othello, Pigs in Space, Snoopy and the Red Baron, Sorcerer's Apprentice, Space War
Anyone know if there was international versions of Oscar's Trash Race, Flag Capture, or Home Run?
Hooking the scanner setup back up tomorrow, so only progress on the backside for awhile.

2 minutes ago, Thomas Jentzsch said:But to be consistent, you would have to remove all existing Brazilian titles, no? 😃
Yes, this is a problem.
Where to draw the line?
Some Brazilian ROMs are interesting (they have their logo included or changed some graphics), most of them are not interesting (a few bytes difference or the original logo removed).
What to do?

Thanks for all the ROM dumps! Can you please share your process for dumping multicarts that don’t have switches for selecting games (e.g. carts that require console power cycling to cycle through the games)? I have a small stack of them that I’d love to try to dump with my Atarimax Maxflash Programmer, but... I don’t know if it’s possible.
LOL
I've decided not to add all these Brazilian multi-cart dumps to my collection.
At the moment I have almost 1000 brazilian VCS titles still to add to our database, which is already counting around 5500 different Brazilian & Argentinian carts.
There's no end when I start adding these ROMs.

If I might wanna add my two cents as to what games/hacks of pre-existing games could possibly be Home Vision:
-Bomb's never released "Splendour"
-MASH hack with submarines/Katastrophen-Einstatz
-Stampede hack with jellyfish (although this could actually be from Datatech)
Thanks!
Splendour fits indeed right into the VCS 83115 position (after the other four Bomb titles).
Could very well be a Home Vision original.

Very impressive.
And most certainly worth $2500 for the collector, if not more.
So far, I've only seen this one popping up:
http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/labyrinth_k7.jpg
Escape from the Mindmaster is not a review tape, BTW.
The third Supercharger is a pre-production unit as well:
http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/supercharger_arcadia_cart_3.jpg
.binning the tapes could indeed show differences with the released versions, especially Excalibur and Labyrinth.

Never heard this song before.

Yes, that's the black HES version:
http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-private-eye_15643.html -
The white label reached Europe, allright:
http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-private-eye_13981.html
But I've never seen a Private Eye color label with a PAL serial number.
-
In the 1984 layout of Activision labels and boxes, the NTSC label (serial number) differs from the PAL label for the following titles:
Beamrider (NTSC and PAL):
http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/beamrider_cart.jpg
http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/beamrider_pal_cart.jpg
H.E.R.O. (NTSC and PAL):
http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/hero_cart.jpg
http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/hero_pal_cart.jpg
Pitfall II - Lost Caverns

http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/pitfall_ii_pal_cart.jpg
But what about Private Eye?
http://www.atarimania.com/2600/boxes/hi_res/private_eye_cart.jpg
Has anyone ever seen a Private Eye color label with a PAL serial number?
Was it even made?
Please let me know if you know.

News from the Home Vision front:
My colleague sent me this Swedish article from 1984 about Home Vision, which shows (and confirms) several previously unknown, but long assumed Home Vision carts.
The picture was not from the company itself (they would never allow to show their Magic Carpet cart with a torn label), so I have no doubt all these carts were manufactured and (by reading the article) released.
From another article I read about Home Vision's Repro Cart, I know now that the complete Home Vision range exists of no less than 48 titles.
Let's have a look:
Magic Carpet:- We now know its serial number (VCS 83121), but I still have no idea which game it contains (it's 8K, oriental themed, the game starts with seven lives and has twenty cities to fly over). This could very well be a still unknown VCS game.
Madcycle:- Has serial number VCS 83138 and carries the label artwork Suntek copied for their Motorcross, so I have no doubt it's the same game. Suntek's Motocross still contains a hidden Home Vision logo in its code, btw.
Motorcross:
- Has serial number VCS 83130. Although the title is identical, I doubt it's the same game as Motocross from Suntek. No idea which game it truly contains.
Pumuckl at the Zoo:
- Has serial number VCS 83131 and is the same game as Suntek's Zoo Fun. This explains why the Suntek game shows the Pumuckl character in the first place. Because most ITT Family games contain the Home Vision logo on screen, I have no doubt their never released Pumuckl I game was a later release than the Home Vision version. BTW: the game is based on code of another Home Vision game: Panda Chase.
Crazy Ski:
- Has serial number VCS 83133 and is the same game as Suntek's Ski Run. It also carries the label artwork Suntek copied for their Ski Run.
Dragon Power:
- Has serial number VCS 83116 and is the same game as Suntek's Dragon Defender. It carries the label artwork Suntek copied for their Dragon Defender.
Colour Fight:
- Has serial number VCS 83139 and is the same game as Suntek's Spectracube Invasion. It carries the label artwork Suntek copied for their Spectracube Invasion. Could be that ZiMAGs Immies & Aggies is still the earlier version, though.
Chase Robber:
- Has serial number VCS 83140. The description in the article describes Suntek's Criminal Persuit, so I have no doubt it's the same game. Could be that Vidco's A Mysterious Thief is the earlier version, though.
Whales:
- Interesting one, this. In old Home Vision lists, this title was already presented. It carries serial number VCS 83125 and is most probably the same game as Datatech's Seal to Whales.
Guignol:
- The famous French puppet clown. Has serial number VCS 83129 and is the same game as Suntek's Walker in which the main character is a clown. The artwork was copied by Suntek and can also be seen on Quelle's Schussel, der Polizistenschreck. Old Home Vision lists carry the name Clown Down Town, which could have been a WIP title of this game (several Home Vision games carried vaporware end label titles in their ads).
Pumuckl at the Farm House:
- Has serial number VCS 83122 and is the same game as Suntek's Farmyard Fun. This explains why the Suntek game shows the Pumuckl character and musical theme in the first place. Home Vision also had a Pumuckl based game in their Colecovision range, BTW.
Robin:
- Has serial number VCS 83110. I still have no idea which game this is.
Fire Spinner:
- Has serial number VCS 83141 and is the same game as Suntek's Firebug. It carries the label artwork Suntek copied for their Firebug. Could be that Vidco's Spinning Fireball is still the earlier version, though.
I've updated the first post of this topic to show all the known Home Vision games and the games that are most probably Home Vision titles too.
Here's the updated list (sorted by serial number) in our database:
http://www.atarimania.com/list_games_atari-2600-vcs-p_total-page-step-publisher-order_44-1-200-2037-serial_2_G.html
Enjoy!

From what I can tell from a quick look, the only difference is probably the copyright being removed...
ROM attached.
Many thanks!

Ex-Activision Designers Launch Retro Game Publisher Audacity Games™
in Atari 2600

Watched the complete interview on ZPH now (many thanks for hosting this in such a great way, btw.)
I think these three gentlemen did an amazing job.
It shows that they are each still deeply connected with the start of their careers programming for the VCS in the old days.
Their love for the Atari 2600 shines through every little detail of this project and IMO it's that affection that links all of us, no matter if you're a player, collector, home brewer or archivist.
