Many thanks for sharing! Looping? Are you sure? -
Most of your questions I already answered. It was released by Funvision in PAL format as Space Monster and then relabeled by K-tel Vision (which was most probably the same Taiwanese company) as Vulture Attack. The game is the same. Check out the titles on Atarimania or Atariboxed to see more cases like this.

You bought a relabeled PAL Funvision T-handle.

SOLD: Atari 2600 - Turbo by ZERO - Rare Import
Rom Hunter replied to CPUWIZ's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Nice find! It's a Tythm Softwares cart from Thailand. They used all kinds of cool looking front label artwork. The Zero artwork was one of them. -
Nice! Which game is on the Carbomb cart?

Huh? Is that the back of the box? Never seen this before. Do you have better pictures of this one? -
Does somebody have more information about (the rules of) this contest? Or the mentioned StarMaster jacket? Here's the poster: Notice the piece of Skylab attached to the front. Does someone have a better quality picture of that poster and piece? Would love to know more about this. It was not produced by Activision, that's for sure.

True, but Unimex released a series of blue stickered pre-programmed copy carts and Submarine is one of them (the first in the series): http://www.atarimania.com/list_games_atari-2600-vcs-unimex_publisher_2616_2_G.html

It was there allright for 15 years: http://www.atarimania.com/game-atari-2600-vcs-unknown-game-1-datatech_14532.html But it's good to know at least its Unimex title now.

Craziest Atari Collection Ever - Cinemassacre Video
Rom Hunter replied to wongojack's topic in Show Us Your Collection!
Very impressive. I love the amount of respect and care that's put into this collection. You can see this man takes good care of his games. Noticed a boxed Sears Cannon Man and Math Gran Prix in there too. Many thanks for sharing. -
Holy shit, CPU. Take care and get well soon, man. All the best for you.

Depends on how much a collector wants this. Could be $50 to perhaps even $100.
-
Certainly not one of a kind, but quite rare nonetheless.

PICTURES of Activision's 1982 Pitfall Party (aka the Rumble in the Jungle)

Amazing. Thanks for sharing! -
That's truly sad news. My condolences to his family. Curt's knowledge and contributions to the Atari community were truly amazing.

Got the same solution, but the arrow point seems a bit inaccurate.
-
This still puzzles me. Has the PAL solution one ever been dumped?
-
Don't own this one myself. Found the pictures on the net and it caught my eye. To be honest, I don't think it's 80s. EDIT: found out it's late 90s.
-
Is this one really 80s?
-
Let me add some freaky stuff as well (I still have tons of pictures of unknown VCS carts not added to the database yet):

Or read tip 5 from the manual (of which only trillion copies were made): If you don't know how to play E.T. or get frustrated by it, you haven't read the manual or you don't know how to handle a X40 properly. It's as simple as that. The game plays well, has its unique genre, a title screen, an ending, great graphics, music & sound FX, follows the movie nicely, contains tons of easter eggs and was made in 5 weeks time. It's not even a mediocre VCS game, it's a good and well made VCS game that contains only one counter-intuitive mechanism: pushing Left or Right instead of Up while going up (which can easily be learned in 1 minute practice time). It just didn't live up to the expectations of the masses (of kids), who most probably wanted a more action packed game.
