Many thanks for taking the pictures, Marco.
Will add them right away.

Wonderful.
Many thanks for sharing, Marco.
Gotta love these amazing brands and boxes.
That Shagora box shares some similarities with this one:

What grail could that be?
Behind the note is this one:

Love that Ark, BTW.
Manna and tablets inside, right?

That would be a bummer indeed.
And what about the person who got one of these carts and didn't know about the contest?
Was there an inlay included?
We probably will never know.

The thing is, I have two or three of these type of carts (no Suntek or SS-xxx serial number on label) in Suntek boxes. There must be some sort of mix-n-match connection...
Must be.
I think they came after the Suntek ones.

Many thanks, Marco.
BTW: is this one like your Dragon Defender box?

Now here's an Activision contest that still puzzles me:

I have no idea if this one was ever rewarded or if one of these Treasure Hunt carts were ever found or still exist (most probably not).

Awesome sight, Marco.
If you have time to make some pictures of the box front and back of Asteroid Belt, Bi! Bi!, Panda (Quest), Ski Run and Tom Boy, I would be very grateful.
They've been missing from our database for many years now:

BTW: which game is in the blank box?

I'm not sure if this is considered Volume #1 or if I'm missing #1
Volume #2
Volume #3
Volume #4
Volume #5
Volume #6
Volume #7
Anyone know if there's a volume 8 or beyond?
Thanks for sharing this, CVGA.
Here are the all known to exist numbers (and the two updates):

Is it possible to scan your first Special Edition one?
It's sadly still missing in our database.

Then it most probably is identical to this one.
Polaris (1983) (Tigervision, Robert H. O'Neil) (7-007) (Prototype).bin
-
Could very well be that this one does not contain the Taito logo onscreen.

Here's the released game:

Your cart is a pre release cart like one of these:
http://www.ataricompendium.com/game_library/prototypes/vcs/maze_craze.html
And most probably contains the final release of the game (dumping the ROM can show the differences, if any).
Nice find.

Have you seen that shirt before? Any idea what the front of the shirt says?
No idea.
I've never seen it before.

I can't find any pictures of it online. But I did spot it on two occasions in the pictures that I have of the Activision Family Vacation to Maui. In the first picture below, you'll see Dan Kitchen wearing one; and in the second picture, there's someone on the left side of the pic with one as well. Hopefully, a better picture of it will surface at some point.

I'm new here. I just bought atari consoles and a lot of games from a friend, but since I don't know much about it, I was wondering if somebody has any idea of prices and rarities. I checked prices on different websites, but couldn't find all the gamevalues. I still need to check if everything works, but according to my friend they do
The games in the boxes practically all have manuals inside and the consoles boxes should be complete. The 2600 compatible (Taiwan) series don't have the manual inside the box. Thanks for your help! Greetings Kim
Kim, that Fire Burg box is interesting.
Could you make a scan / picture of the box front and back for our database?
As you can see, it's still missing here:

I'm a newbie to forums and a first time poster so bare with me!
I am a big fan of Atari having grown up with one in the 70's.
I collect most consoles now but the Atari is a big passion...
I have a copy of River Patrol as you can see in the attached pics. It is a PAL version which I believe is very rare, I know the NTSC version is rated as R9...
I have read the thread posted on here in 2010 regards this cartridge and just wanted to know if anyone might have more info on it? I'm wondering how many PAL versions were actually produced..
Any help welcomed
Many thanks
That's what I call a first post in style.
Welcome to the forums.
PAL versions of River Patrol do exist, but are extremely rare.
AFAIK this is the third one that has ever surfaced, apart from a PAL prototype.
But to know for sure, your cart should be dumped to see if the ROM is truly PAL.
Do you have any screenshots of the game in play?

A Taiwanese company.
Back of the box shows Homerun, though:

But that doesn't mean anything.

Captain Combat, could you make nice pictures of the front and back of your Chuck Norris box?
