Wasn't the Wonderswan ambidextrous too?

Eh... The taco thing's become pretty mindless, & far too many jokes are made at the supporters' expense.
Even intelligent people make dumb decisions on occasion; Newton fell victim to a stock bubble. I'm sure we all can remember a receiving a raw deal once or twice; we wouldn't want to be insulted for it, would we?

Hmmmm... A lot of "indie" games have a try-now pay-later model, similar to shareware.
But shareware's re-attributable; most modern indie titles are not.

That might've been possible...
If I remember right most of the game had Dirk in a room, rendered as a long shot till something happened. They could've replaced the animated long shot with a photo of a painting. Place large sprites on top of that, cut to a short piece of animation when Dirk interacts with an object, & you'd have the right look & feel for most of Dragon's Lair.

You can see what you reacted to mixed with reactions to your posts. Is there a way to just see who reacted to your posts?

Hey! Dragon Strike could work! Thank you!
Tho, since this is the Pipe Dreams thread, I'll have to insist on a fully textured version at a 30 fps.

A 3D game where you fly around as or on a dragon.
A voxel game with higher resolution sprites.
(Not sure these are possible, which is why I'm putting them in the pipe dream thread.)

Wrote this awhile back:
Decent Search Engines (Which Are Not Google)
https://websitering.neocities.org/minisearchenginereviews.htmAnd this article's already obsolete; some of of those engines have gone offline.
I used to use ScrubTheWeb a lot, but they're gone too. (Sold the domain name, & someone else made a directory with the same name.) Here's an article I wrote when that happened: https://websitering.neocities.org/ScrubTheWebIsGone.htm
I don't mind ads or tracking; I do find an information monopoly frightening.

Quick question: Who liked what posts?
On your profile there used to be a list of all the posts someone had "liked." I can't find that anymore.

Does it work with JavaScript off? If this posts, then it does.

This must be Atari's "Hardware Store" model to make believers believe but here's, what I think, what it's really made out of:
As you can see, many of the items are found at a hardware store or as they say in french, la droguerie.
To me the "springs" look like sheet metal screws. Don't let the name confuse you; they'll work on plastic too.
There's a conspicuous lack of circuits on their circuit board. Maybe they stole my idea, & each game will come on a cart which includes a complete system-on-a-chip? Then again, I stole that idea from Epoch, Coleco, & later-pong machines.
Other than that I can't say anything, 'cause I don't know anything.

You're interested in the SuperVision & the Game Mate, but not the Mega Duck or the Game Master?

At the very least it's more honest...

According to The Dot Eaters there was no lawsuit: http://thedoteaters.com/?bitstory=bitstory-article-2/shark-jaws-2That's news to me ...
reading about it here makes it look like it wasn't part of a lawsuit, but they kinda expected one
That was an arcade game I've never seen.
The Atari History Museum doesn't mention anything either: http://www.atarimuseum.com/videogames/arcade/arcade75.html
No idea how I got the idea Universal forced them to take it off the market; maybe Wikipedia used to say something like that?

KC Munchkin for the Philips Magnavox Odyssey 2: first game removed from sale because of a copyright dispute
Wasn't Shark Jaws removed earlier?

I think it's a rather nice tagline...

You mean they're finally releasing the Jaguar 2?!So $300+ dollars for a system that can run Borderlands 2 (2012) at 12 frames a second?

I always considered it official since AtariAge gave it a rarity rating instead of an "H."

I'd consider Telegames' releases official, since JTS' Atari "division" was still "supporting" Atari's platforms. Once Hasbro bought everything & released the Jaguar for homebrew development... Things get sticky. I want to say "Yes! Battlesphere is an official release!" But I think the correct answer is "No; it's an early homebrew," or maybe "It's a late prototype completed & released for fans."
-
Opinion still seems split regarding Battlezone 2000..either it morphed into Hoverstrike or Hand Made Software were doing a seperate title, based around the earlier Lynx title.
Even the supposed experts outside of A.A cannot seem to agree on this one.
Could be both.
I'd like something like 3D Construction Kit, perhaps with added lighting & texturing FX. And an optional 3rd person camera.

They buy chips; we say we're buying chips.
They buy plastic; we say we're buying plastic.
But we have an extra expensive component: the Atari logo, which we got at fire sale prices just before our bankruptcy.
Atari SA: It's price without the power!

They had a limited amount of time to get a working prototype together for the CES, & that wasn't enough time to get AMY working with everything else.
Then they had a limited amount of time to get the ST finalized for production, & that still wasn't enough time to get AMY to work.

In the late 80's Atari Corp did have some success marketing their 8-bit computers in Eastern Europe, if what I've read is correct.

New Atari Console that Ataribox?

Clarity.
I never knew Office Assistants could be so much fun. Microsoft should bring them back & include Mr. Fuji*!
(*Not to be confused with the minor Pokemon character.)
