  1. I love Battlestar Galactica (1978), don't get me wrong.  But good lord has it not aged particularly gracefully.

      So an interesting thought I have on older shows is the look generally has the look of when the show was made.  So original Trek has a 60s look, Battlestar has the longer hair of the 70s, etc.  At first we think "how outdated".  But... trends swing back into fashion every 20 years or so.  So are we looking at an outdated 60s look, OR are we looking at the trends that will happen again in 2270?  ;)

      Reset button was hit in the original Star Trek series.  (World War III, the Eugenics wars...)  AND they found their way back to 60s hair styles.
