  1. Gave myself food poisoning last night. 0/10: Would not recommend.

No clue, either it was some chicken or some canned soup, whatever it was kicked my ass.

That particular circle of life can go stick itself in a blender.

For me, the belts go out in style, explosively, coating everything, and eventually myself.

  4. My wife just called someone a "douche hat".  Best of both worlds I guess, douche bag and ass hat all rolled into one!

I prefer Douche Nozzle, or if Shitweed if I'm feeling nasty.

Creative swearing is one of life's greatest pleasures.

  5. I know it's a global phenomenon and all, but is anyone else watching SQUID GAME?      Pretty Intense huh?   DAMN!!  Haven't felt this way since Stranger Things,  Love, Death & Robots, and Tiger King.

Yup, I'm on episode three. Quite engaging, I wasn't expecting much so I'm really impressed so far.

  6. Watching MST3K ep the Screaming Skull.  The Gumby short beforehand is a hoot!

Gumby's Mother: Such clever boys certainly deserve crackers with their milk!

Servo: Crackers? Wow! Maybe they can have white rice later!

      Me, but with vintage hifi.

  9. I just realised my hair length is almost at the middle of my back when it's wet.

Dried up it curls a bit and looks about 3/4 that length, which is a little below the shoulders.

I've been cursed with curly hair, so even though it's 6+ inches long it decides that gravity is for suckers and sticks out in every direction except down. Type 3A-3C for those in the know about hair types.

  10. Just got a HP Jordana Pocket PC. Gonna try to get doom on it!

Problem is it's an old version of CE, 3.0.9348, and it doesn't look like there's a lot of surviving software for it let alone Doom ports. Most of what I find leads to dead webpages or forum threads from 2001.

  11. LJN never made any games. Beam Software, Acclaim, Activision, Sculptured Software Rare and Ocean ruined my childhood!

Ocean is an odd one seeing as they put out decent ports on C64 and Spectrum. Maybe a crappy B team?

Acclaim has a special place in my heart for publishing Extreme-G, the only reason I bought an N64 was for that game.

  12. No air conditioning today.  Glad it's only going up to 94. It could be worse.

  13. Watched Star Trek: The Motion Picture yesterday and promptly passed out. I thought people were exaggerating.

The slow plot coupled with the amazing soundtrack just knocked me out. Still a good movie though.

  14. My mom was vaccinated yesterday. AstraZeneca. Right now it's like she has the flu. Minor fever, aching body, and whatnot. Hopefully she'll get better soon.

Had the J&J and it made all my hair follicles really sensitive, but otherwise no other side effects. Really funky.

So, much like any other pet/companion with the looks being generally off-putting to many. Now I'm wondering if there's anybody crazy enough to try and be a 'wasp-keeper'

@Rogerpoco Well, I am a shallow bastard, I'm judging the boy based purely on its looks.

As someone who has clearly immersed themselves in the many legged world of the insect, what insect would find itself on the patent pending 'not-nice bug' list? Is it an obvious choice, like a venomous/poisonous, bug (Spider, scorpion, wasp), or something that's just a pain to keep alive due to specialized environments, I know insects are pretty hardy but there's sure to be a few diva's out there.

It's likely that the disconnect between desirable/rare items and common ones will only grow wider as things keep breaking or getting lost. It all used to be trash at some point. Maybe that's the best time to get into it, and hope you get lucky.
