Woo! Finally got a readable version of my book out! You can read it free on my site.

Good Job Spuds!!! I've written stories...Mostly for High School or College, and I've started 2, ..Wait make that 3 books...But to seriously see it through to the end ... Seriously, and I cannot stress this enough, I am impressed! The thing here is...I, sometimes anyhow, prefer the independent, DIY touch...I knew (vaguely) this actual published author, writing romance novels for women,...and it just seemed so formulaic. She was waiting for one book to be published (her 3rd book), and if it was a hit she would keep her pen name, otherwise she had another book in the wings to be published almost instantly under another pen name (Her 3rd pen name,...All at the direction of the publisher)...It was much more, ... , planned, and canned (Hey I rhymed!) than you would ever think...Like, she might as well have been in a Boy Band (Ha!) as far as things being manufactured and contrived were concerned...Ebooks, whatever the godforsaken hell that is, have really helped independent thought get a foothold and maybe have helped to level the playing field, even if just a little...I hope I sometime find the time to read what you have worked on...Best of luck with it!!

Ziploc should partner with cereal companies to make better cereal bags. Million dollar idea right there.

We have a Tupperware/Rubbermaid reusable cereal container. We open a bag of cereal and pour it in, keeps it nice and fresh for a long time. Plus it's easier to pour the cereal -- just pop the lid and pour, no flaps to close. Co's used to do a lot of cross-marketing. I remember in the 1970's when you'd buy a new school lunchbox there'd be some samples inside of gum, candy, coupons for sandwich bags, etc..

I just have one cup of coffee in the morning...No problem. Best of luck...If you do start on 'one cup a day'...It's no big deal to sometimes skip a day. It's no fun, and there may be no reason to get out of bed, but you won't pass out, or shake, or see babies crawling on the ceiling or anything...Best of luck to you sir!

The amount of cool shit he has in there... I could write several paragraphs.
Complete CIB Supercharger set.
Vectrex and ALL peripherals CIB
Stargunner/Ram It CIB
An original Odyssey CIB
He had a Commodore SX-64 go through, he let me test that.
A Prototype VIC-20/1001
Dozens of prototypes and promo/review copies for 2600 games, mainly Activision and Telesys.
He has so many CIB NES systems it's actually funny.
He's got paraphernalia out the wazoo, everything from every generation.
If it exists he probably had it at some point he's been around since the 80's.
The place is crazy.

Currently changing my notification sound to something loud and annoying. I can't see how this will end poorly.

I finally finished my book! If you're interested in checking it out you can read it for free on the dedicated website.

So... I think Another Brick in the Wall Part 1 is better than Part 2, it's so wonderfully chill.

Well, my quest for the heaviest sound has finally led me to Death Metal. I can live with that.

I was still making mix tapes in the early 2000's. My base model '98 Saturn SL sedan only had a AM/FM radio, so I went on ebay and paid $75 or something for a Saturn radio with AM/FM and cassette. So I would use my CD boombox to record some key songs onto a cassette. Then in 2004, I got a car with a CD player and no cassette. Then in 2010 I got a car with an AUX in so I started using my phone for entertainment.

Am I going crazy or is the option to add a spoiler window into posts gone? Or is it hidden somewhere?
