  1. Thanks for the reply! That is good to know.. I will just keep my eye out for a ds/dsi/3ds to grab up. The PSP is ripe for a good TI emulator as well.
  2. I know this a ridiculous thing to even be trying, but I don't have a ds (not yet... i'm a PSP owner), and I was interested in checking out this TI emulator on a ds/3ds emulator, like OpenEmu or Citra. I have not had any luck with either one. Has anyone else tried this totally unnecessary task?
  3. That launch was awesome! Took me back to being a kid and following launches and flights. I have an 8 year old I'm trying to fire up about it too.
  4. I'm sure a lot of people would gladly pre-order and pre-pay for the units... especially here on AtariAge, to defray some of the upfront cost. I definitely would.
  5. Beery Miller saved them.
  6. I have the book, "The Orphan Chronicles"..... somewhere. It tells the story but definitely no glossy photos. That is a cool idea! I hope someone does it.
  7. There was also “Gentri” that combined three apps into one, but all I remember about it was the Word Processor part of it.. maybe a spellchecker too?
  8. Thanks for posting that Casey! I'll definitely try an installation when I get some spare time this week.
  9. The version of the Printer’s apprentice for the Geneve was TPA4MDOS. I actually wrote a review of it for Micropendium. McCann Software also had a HyperCard-like program for the Geneve as well called HQ-Stacks. I used a little but never quite got the hang of it. Doug
  10. What is your twitter handle? I'm @plumbsilly * never mind, I already follow you lol
  11. I haven't gotten to sit down at the TI yet, but I see 2 files listed at BOOT and BOOU in the zip. Should there be a loader for XB too?
  12. I found BOOT in an old thread. I can't get through the login on wht to get it.
  13. OK. Cool.... I remember your post about BOOT in another thread I think. I hope to get some free time this evening to try it out. Thanks! Edit: The post I misremembered was for 9640 Menu system. I'm looking for BOOT now.
  14. I've not had time to play with TiPi yet, but is 9640 menu for F18A consoles only (80 column)?
  15. You read my mind. I was about ask if there was a FG99 version. Thank you!
  16. Awesome. I’ll check it out. Thanks!
  17. Ω would you mind posting your folder structure to show how you have various program types organized? Like EA5, Xb, etc .... If a program has multiple files associated, do you create a folder just for that? Thanks.
  18. Awesome. I’ll try it tomorrow. Thanks.
  19. Ok. No problem. I can try it with Ethernet tomorrow. It will only be a little less convenient. Thanks.
  20. Our house is isolated and I finally just decided to skip using a password. I keep an eye out for any outside connections on my router too. I’ll keep fiddling with it. I’ve tried the password both ways now with no luck. Don’t go to a lot of trouble working on it. I’ll start from scratch again (reflash the memory card) and go from there tomorrow. Thanks
  21. I’m setting up my TiPi and having a little trouble pulling an IP address. My wireless doesn’t have a password. Should I leave the field blank or put in “” ?
  22. Printing would be awesome. I appreciate your effort! That would pretty much complete the TiPi replacing a PEB other than expanding memory above 32K (and I don't have a need for that anyway at this time). Desktop publishing was one of my main uses of the TI back in the day with Page Pro 99 and The Printer's Apprentice.
