  1. Nah, that's understandable and certainly not the only device to work like that. May I suggest adding a warning on the firmware page as such? I just would have liked to saved some custom settings I did earlier.
  2. I asked this a few pages back, and after reviving mine today I can confirm that it does not have the same power supply. The Super Nt is powered of a pretty standard 5v 1amp USB-Micro-USB adapter and cable.
  3. I don't so much care if we do or don't get jailbreak style abilities, but more so just a confirmation if it is or is not happening. I just want to know if I should invest in an SD2SNES. Of course, it's totally up to Kevtris if he says anything, just would be nice.
  4. @Kevtris Is the firmware update meant to reset all settings to default?
  5. Well, colour me surprised! My Super Nt just arrived at my door in Australia. Delivery on a Sunday no less! Looking forward to having heaps of fun with this thing, thanks for Kevtris and the Analogue team. @Kevtris: Can't wait to see what you've got coming up!
  6. Just got my shipping confirmation to Australia. But, they didn't my international address well at all, it's listing my Apartment Number and Street three times, and doesn't even show my Country. Hoping it's just a DHL issue, but it's all good on the back end. Otherwise this thing is going to some mystery destination.
  7. Theyre talking about the fact that it’s cheaper to buy a controller and receiver in the bundle (as they are now) that was to buy them separately (old SN/SF30 and seperate Retro Receiver).
  8. The controllers they are talking about (SN30/SF30 2.4GHz) are specifically designed to use with the SNES Mini. The Retro Receiver works with all 8bitdo Bluetooth Products and a load of other non-8bitdo Bluetooth controllers.
  9. @Kevtris A question form your interview on RetroRGB You mentioned you’ve learned some secrets about Hybrid Scanlines. Is this something that can be implemented in the Nt mini? Also gamma correction?
  10. You're getting confused with two different products. There is a 2.4 GHz version which is designed to work exclusively with the SNES Mini (made by Nintendo). It comes with a special version of the receiver that only works with the 2.4 GHz controllers. Likewise you can't use these controllers with any normal Bluetooth 8Bitdo adapters. That is this one here: https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-Wireless-Controller-Classic-super-nintendo/dp/B074HBQ78V/ Now there is a version of this controller which looks the same, but now also available in black and transparent that was released on Feb 1st 2018. These work like every other 8bitdo controller and are Bluetooth, which means they work with the current Bluetooth 8Bitdo adapters but do not work with the 2.4 GHz SNES Mini adapter. That is this one here: https://www.amazon.com/8Bitdo-SN30-Retro-Set-Black-nintendo/dp/B075WS3B6H/ Hope that clears it up. (Maybe?)
  11. But the images of the controllers have always had "Bluetooth Controller" on them since they were shown off?
  12. Ahh yes, I somehow glossed over the USB part. Although I am slightly disappointed it doesn't come with a worldwide kit like the Nt Mini. Super easy to rectify though.
  13. Wait... does that mean it doesnt come with an Aus/UK/Euro plug?
  14. @Kevtris Not sure if this is something you can answer, but does the Super Nt Mini take the same power adapter as the Nt Mini? Would love to be able to quickly unplug on for the other. Also, thanks for all your hard work on both products!
  15. Ahh right! I have one of those, my question originally was to do with loading the FDS file directly on the Mini and it using expansion audio from the RAM Adapater. (I don't even know if that's possible) Yes, I'm seeing that now! Thank you for confirming!
  16. Haven't had a chance to try this yet, but if you're running the FDS ROM off the nt Mini, how do you switch disk sides if required?
  17. Thank you! I’ll try both these tomorrow. Whats a good natural setting for the cart audio?
  18. It arrived in Australia! Wooooo! A few quick questions if y’all don’t mind. When running the hacked firmware, is there no way to access settings while a rom is loaded? If I have an FDS RAM Adapater plugged in, can I run a rom off the system and get it to use “cartridge” audio? It’s almost 1am here so my brain is fried...
  19. Haha, god damn it... Edit: And your avatar is perfectly smug about it too...
  20. Just got a notification that my nt Mini has been shipped to Australia! So exited excited!
