  1. I'm telling you guy's, he's got teeth in the Namco Museum port on Dreamacst. LOL try it, pause the game and look at your extra men at the botton. Kinda looks like he's been much'n rocks
  2. After all these's years I've noticed he's got teeth(Ms. Pac-Man too), or was he change'd after that lawsuit of the 80's?(Corn nuts vs Namco) Because I don't seem to remembering Pac-man having teeth? I'm playing the Namco Museum port on Dreamacst.
  3. I was walking in Wal-Mart today with wet sneakers(it had just rained a little) on some freashly waxed floors which was making a squeeking sound, I stoped and said "BOOOOONG!" and out of know whare this fat dude with a red Atari shirt about my age say's "Donkey Kong", though I was thinking Mario Bros myself. We both laugh'd, LOL Life is a trip sometimes
  4. Cars cost what in 1975? Compaired to now? 3-4X Nawwwww... it's alot higher than that. Food? $100 now = 1 maybe 2 bags(stay faaar away for dairy/Meat). $100 in 1975? get a cart! LOL!
  5. As I recall, Pong was $99 I beleave? Can't remember what the 2600 was? $149.95? Nor the NES, but when the genny took the price drop down to $269 I bit Then Sony took the Playstation down to $199 and the $179 shortly there after and I bit on that Anyways, $80 back 1975-1980 does not = 200 now LOL! more like 10-15X the dallor of today. You could buy a house in the 10,000 to 25,000 range back in 1975. *shivers*
  6. I just can't hang with my Old school consoles on my HDTV set any longer, even my Dreamcast through S-Video is soo washed-out looking I bought a new 20" for the bedroom and it's soo nice seeing my PS2, DC, NES, Genny and 5200 on it soo much cleaner and sharper. So now I must upgrade(lol) the living room set to anilog also. Now I need some imput from you gaming anilog set vets, I've been looking around and it seems that these's set's are shrinking to only a handfull of choices compaired to mass amounts of HDTV's. I'm looking in the 27"-32" range? $400 and less please.
  7. I don't know if that's true? Did Sega have enough $$$$$$ for the long haul? Seems to me it takes about 2-3 years before consoles survive a hardware gen? Not true about Sony haters for everyone, I like the Playstation overall, sure had alot of good RPG's, Puzzle games and good sim racers ect... and yes the DC had some really good RPG's too.
  8. I think this would come down to what kind of gamer you are? Talk to a RPG nut, and he'd/she would laugh at the DC. As a Arcade gamer the Playstation couldn't thouch it with a ten foot pole, though Playstation is no slouch in this department either, it sure got alot of sloppy ports unlike the DC which got some killer arcade style goodies. Fighters/Shoot'em ups and sum super cool quirky stuff. I'm really bumm'd at the early out for Dreamcast. Hardware wise? DC still kicks the crap out of the PS2 and Xbox.
  9. Went over to that Klov.com whare that pic came from, nice site Galaga '88? That sure looks familiar also, I think I remember that also.
  10. Thank you! That was a nice post for a min there I though it was me and a Brain Fart. Soo it's Gaplus!? What system is that on? Hope it's on my 5200 or NES?
  11. Sorry, don't own gamboy of anykind I do have that great PSX version though
  12. I was playing Galaga today and seem to remember some guy back in the arcade days having a ton of ships line'd up on the bottom(more than 2, like 4-5)? Was it Galaga/2(was there even a 2?) or a differn't game? Maybe a so-called ripp-off version or an entirely differn't game? Maybe it was code or just a glitch?
  13. Isen't DK unlockable in DK64? Dose it contain the arcade port? Hell, why dosen't Nin just release a Greatest Hit's disc like the rest of the componies like Midway, Namco and Atari? Same goes for Konami(PSX was the last one that I know of)?
  14. LMAO... !!! Ahahahahaa... that was funny *wipes tears from eyes* Say, anyone know if their gonna bring over the 6 million dollar man episode's to dvd?
  15. I really didn't wanta hear that about Gorf Even with a 3rd party controller it sux?
  16. A) can't afford broadban, hence no online nor online Radio B) Can't afford a decent PC, also the online cost C) I'm just an "OLD GROUCHY BASTARD"! Can't stand PC'ish FPS'ers, console Gangster action games, and for the love of god! Go away EA Sports! overall, I guess we really don't have much in common?
  17. nostaligia? Naww... Just like simple arcade style games, they really don't make'em anymore outside of a few a year if any. Also now that I'm older can swing the cash now and then for older stuff, which I could not do in my youth, boogle's my mind that the stuff kids have nowdays? Most kids have more $$$ in pocket then I do now or back at the same age I also don't collect every game possible for a system, only the games I want and will play or it's traded off.
  18. I wish! To poor for that, just got a 5200 and i'm trying to save up for Beef Drop and Gorf
  19. 3rd party Atari 2600 controllers Downside is that I don't have an Artai 2600 He got theim from his dad's Barn, they were very dusty and some of the screws were rusty in the bases of the controllers. 2 WICO Boss jotsticks(grey with black sticks and white top buttons), 2 ARCHER radio shack joysticks(Black with red buttons) and 1 Spectravideo(looks just like the radio shack sticks) and finally a 3 button competition-pro. These's WICO ones are kinda cool, nice to see electronics made in the U.S.A LOL! Now what do I do with'em
  20. Alex Kid: in the enchanted castle for Genesis, Sonic that, Mario that, Madden blaa blaa blaa... This is a killer game nobody ever talk'd about back in the day. Gradius V on the PS2, I don't think there's any Buzz about this game? It's very good though, yet tuff as nails. I see alot copies still on shelves
  21. Don't know about those's games, but I remember making alot of Pinball games and some aracde games back in the day.
  22. I only system I've never been able to get into is my N64, It's like new and mint, the controller just sux period for my hands, the system itself is soo style'ish but damn that controller to HELL. Plus I just couldn't convert over to the 3D nintendo world. Comming off SNES and Saturn to N64 was a real letdown. Plus the price of loose carts for that system are nuts!? 10-20+ bucks for dime-a-dozzen carts like Mario 64/DK64/Zelda ect... I'm not much of a graphic whore, but sheeeeeshh... 8bitt stuff rocks that system running on A/V cords.
  23. I see, more like streamlining your hobby for the favorite stuff. Enough of the fluff?
