19 hours ago, JEB1981 said:LFB2019 Deluxe got a new firmware update on February 14th (0.1.8). Doesn't appear to be any differences from the standard edition LFB 2019 update on the 12th (0.1.17; Star Wars games, Maui Mallard, and Jungle Book work now, but A and B are still reversed on NES emulation). All the ROM emulation options are still there (NES, SNES, Genesis, Sega CD, Atari 2600), didn't test to see if any new options opened up.
However, there's a 1-second audio lag that I'm pretty sure wasn't there before on console games. It's really obvious on Mega Man 2, for example. (I didn't notice it on arcade games, but it might have been there too.) I'm alerting the support folks, will see what they say.
Also, pretty disappointed to hear that there were versions of the firmware that had the A/B problem on NES fixed, but it's been undone by later firmware...
I guess I will leave mine alone. I never tried running Jungle Book. I will see if that works. I got a firmware release a while back from AtGames that fixed the two Star Wars games and the Humans. They stopped working when I did an update from the site back in January.

I got one with G-Mantle. Totally used it.

Just a follow up. Bloodlines does have reflections now and Shining Force II does not lock up. Seems like it all works. I noticed audio was fixed when I did a firmware update.

The 2018 Flashback is pretty solid after you update the firmware. I like that old Master System samurai game that is on it.
-
Yeah. The second version of the Genesis Flashback with the SD card slot is great after you flash it to the latest firmware. It fixes the audio issues.

I was pleased to see that they had the arcade version of Burgertime and not the NES one. Also, they have arcade Forgotten Worlds. That Disco game is fun.
The Phelios is the Genesis one, but people say that is the best one.
Also, the Deluxe version has the good and gory version of The Immortal. The Genesis one.

Why on earth did they not update the V. 0.1.7 firmware for the Legends Flashback Deluxe on the website? I just updated and I have the missing games issue. I emailed AtGames.
Edit: They pointed me to a custom update in a matter of minutes.

They fixed the bugs on the Genesis Flashback 2018. Shining Force 2 doesn't crash on spells and reflections now show up in Castlevania Bloodlines.

It looks like the fixed the bugs in the 2018 model Shining Force 2 does not lock up on spells and Castlevania Bloodlines has reflections now.

Can you save your game with the x3 cart?
-
What is a good Mega Everdrive cart? Seems expensive.
-
Does this have an SD card slot? I wonder if the firmware can be updated.
This is like $38 on Amazon. I already bought it.
-
I wonder if the problems are fixed.
Does it run Castlevania Bloodlines with reflections?
Does Phantasy Star and Shining Force II not crash anymore?
I assume this is fixed with the firmware updates.
-
If you play Castlevania: Bloodlines in the Flashback, you don't get reflections.
There is also a YouTube video out there where a guy is saying that it erased the save games off his carts. I am not certain how that would be possible. It should just dump the rom.

Does the Flashback have a crashing bug in Phantasy Star 4 and a spell casting bug in Shining Force 2? There is one video on YouTube that states this.
-
Double Dragon had to be authentically slow.
-
Anybody get audio noise on Bad Dudes for the arcade?
Also, some games say that save states are not fully supported.
-
Here is what I noticed after playing the Retrocade.
- The arcade Bad Dudes has some noise in it's sound.
- The Spartan X 2 game has some graphics corruption in the title screen and the first cutscene.
- Double Dragon has slow down. This may be accurate for the arcade version.

Be sure to test out a Castlevania: Bloodlines cart on the next model. Reflections don't work on the current one.
-
It would be great if someone went game by game on the Retrocade and pointed out anything that is wrong.

One drawback to this system is that the graphics are slightly fuzzy. It may be due to a filter. The Rerez review points it out.
The waterfall seems like a different shade of blue on Mega Man 2 as well. That could be a color setting on the TV that they used.

Is there some kind of ini file on RBG?
I am wondering if the emulators can be adjusted.

Yeah. I just tried them and they don't work. I'll have to update.
