Do these eBay programs work at all?
thenotoriousbjc replied to RickHarrisMaine's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
man I have been an ebay buyer for a long time.......I never even heard of such a thing.........now that I have seen what actually goes on I will not be bidding on many more items........that kind of puts a cloud over ebay........kind of like steroids in baseball (well at least I seen the steroid use in baseball)........I really can't believe I was dumb enough to think that people sat in front of their computer to manually put a bid in the last second.......I remember getting all worked up when there was like 5 minutes to go in an auction I was winning then with 7 seconds left I would get outbid........man I am pretty disappointed how this world works these days......I think that I also will just stick to the atariage marketplace......I have dealt with some really nice people on here -

oh yeah tax deduction.....never thought of that either.....I just hope that the salvation army does go to a website auction site.....ebay has already killed the flea markets because everything goes by what ebay sells the item for.......pretty much the only good ways to find good deals on systems and games is yard sales and public auctions......but tax deduction or not I am not going to pay 65 bucks a nes system and 3 games and that does not include shipping -

yeah does anyone know why the prices of these goodwill auctions go so high........like it was mentioned before the most common things go a lot higher than a ebay auction does......it does go to a good cause but ever since I have heard about the shopgoodwill site I have not seen any atari, snes ,nes, or even sega systems in the local goodwill stores -
if any of you guys or girls have any snes or nes games you need or want to get rid of drop me a private message....I am interested in buying in lots or singles.....also if anyone has any complete sega genesis sports games (game, instructions, box) also you can list them in the pm.......I don't really have a trade list yet just really want to get my name thrown out there to be known as a good buyer....I don't have a paypal account yet so I would pay for the items with a money order.....also this has nothing to do with selling just a website I have if you guys want to look at it... www.angelfire.com/bc3/bjcdesigns

man that game is awesome....I used to spend all my lunch money on the arcade game when I was in elementary school....then I got the nes version for christmas one year and I could not get enough of that game.....still have it today.....to pick up the itmes I believe you have to walk up to them(cola, dagger, Nun chucks(sp), etc) and push down and hit A....also to throw a super punch hold the A button for like 3 seconds..also When you are at the title screen, press B, A, Down, Up, Down, Up on the 2nd controller then Press Start on the 1st Controller to gain 63 extra lives.....I hope that code works for ya and it should make the game a little more enjoyable or at least you can watch the ending if you beat it

I read on another forum that take 2 has bought the rights for major league baseball games in the future......I am with most people that hate the fact that these companys keep buying rights to these sports and are only producing subpar games with no competition so they don't really have to strive for greatness......I miss the days that you didn't have to run the team, sell the hot dogs, sign free agents, etc......I hate to see what the future holds for most sports games.....but I will most likely keep buying every game for every sport just because that seems like the thing to do.....but these games make sitting down to play a two player game of real sports football for the atari 2600 that much more enjoyable

I bought an atari 2600 a couple of weeks back and still not get it to work......looks good on the outside but when it plays it rolls and has 2 lines through the picture kind of making it like 3 screens.....but anyhow if anyone has any atari 2600's for sale drop me a line......I have been on ebay but I have heard some bad stories about ebay atari 2600's.......drop me a line with a price and I will get back to ya....thanks

the tv that I am trying to hook it up to is about 4 years old.....it is the picture flipping not black and white lines.....it does not say anything about being a pal system that I know of......I checked out the bottom of the system......how do I tell if they are pal games....and not to sound like an idiot I have no idea what pal means......I can post some pics of the system and the games if that might help.....thanks

hi guys and girls I am new around this part.....I started collecting all the old video game systems that I had growing up and found an atari 2600 at the local pawn shop.....it is a 4 botton wood grain system cx-2600 a ......I tried hookin it up with the switch box they had with it and the picture just kept spinning in a circle from top to bottom.......so then I went to the local radio shack and bought a female f type to coaxial cable adapter and tried that and the picture still spins top to bottom but not as fast.......then I tried hookin it up through the vcr and still moves.....if anybody has any suggestions please get back to me......the system is in great shape and the conrollers still seem really tight......also cleaned all the games that I found.....thanks for the help in advance
