I might do it again next year, depending on how much crap I acquire.
Mailman came and picked them up and my landlord was down in the lobby at the same time. "What's in the boxes?" he asks. I told him the whole story and he thought it was quite a hoot. The mailman just shook his head--he is already well aware that I am insane.
The only medium flat rate box I have left is one containing: PS1 Dance Dance Revolution Game (disk only) and dance pad. Wife does not like it. She tested, works, she just stinks at it. Make offer.

These have SHIPPED! Well, they will when my mailman comes to get them later today. Let me tell you I was sick as a dog this weekend and am finally recovered. I am really sorry it took such a long time to get this all done, but I thought my guts were going to march out of my body for most of the weekend. I have been eating nothing but saltines and drinking juice since my last update and been bed bound. It's only thanks to my dear wife that these are finally on their way.
(Don't worry, we did put the labels on the boxes before shipping.)

- Golf (by FAR my favorite)
- Hockey (NES, NHL2K* online)
- Baseball (RBI NES, INTV Baseball)
- Racing (Gran Turismo, Mario Kart, RC Pro-Am)
- Football (Madden, etc.)
- Basketball (NBA Jam)
- Bowling (Wii, Atari, Arcade)
- Future Games (Ballblazer, definitely should count)
- Tennis (5200, Virtua for Dreamcast/Saturn)
- Boxing (NES Punchout!)
- Wrestling (NES)
I generally like Sports games--I am probably one of the only people I know who is STILL obsessed with all the Wii Sports.

Bought mine on eBay, it was shipped from Florida. I was shocked that a) I got it for so little and b) the seller packed it REALLY well.
Love it.
MusicMates from various sources. They are out there.
okay, so I thought I was the only one with that sweet glass - faced cabinet. So now I know there is someone else, and you live pretty close to where I live, I'm in Sacramento. Where did you find yours, mine was a Goodwill.

AWESOME!
Looks great, thanks Wonder!

UPDATE: Everyone has paid and the boxes are slated to go out on Friday. I apologize for the delay--I picked a rather bad time to get sick. My wife gave me her cold.
To make up for the delay I am including something extra and unique with each and every box. Thank you for your patience and participation!

Flea market today:
19 Game Gear/GB/GBC games for $20. The seller originally wanted $3 apiece, but she knows me and when I laughed she offered the whole lot for $20. Oddly enough I don't own ANY of these games already. Looking forward to Mary Kate and Ashley!
Two PS1 SCPH-1001 models for $5. They were beat up. I sell these as CD players--people mod them and such, I guess they have good sound. Not sure I buy it, but whatever works.
And finally, a boxed light sixer Atari with all the cardboard interior, two like-new sticks and paddles and the pack-in Pac-Man for $20. Looks pretty good but I have to admit that I thought it was a heavy. Kinda felt around in the box and thought I could feel the heavy curves in the front... turns out I was feeling the curved back. Duh.
Beautiful sunny day out there and I had a good time. This comes on the heels of last week when I acquired a SWEET Marantz receiver for $30 (sold my old Technics that it replaced yesterday for $38).

I still can't wait for it. It will be my first new handheld purchase sine the original Gameboy. (That is, if you don't count the iPhone--I bought that on the first day it was available.)

I am in the midst of some massive cleaning (yes, again) and realize I just need to get rid of some things. I have spent too much time and energy trying to sell stuff for a buck here and a buck there and between the eBay fees and the Paypal fees and the postage fees and crazy buyers and a kind of PO'ed wife, it's really time for it to stop.
So I was reading woot! stuff the other day and was reminded of their "bag of crap" offerings in which they send excess stuff to people with some good, some bad, some awesome, you just never know. So I am thinking about doing the same thing. Anyone who has dealt with me before knows that I have quite a bit of stuff, most of it good, but I also have some stuff I just don't know what to do with as well. Nothing is really BAD, it's just kind of defunct or no longer of use to me personally. And I don't really want to spend the time to list it all and entertain offers and all the back and forth, etc. I used to find that fun, but now I am just sick of looking at the stuff. I have many 2600/5200 cartridges, some rare-ish (they won't be commons--Al gets all those in his special boxes of crap), that will be included--I will say up front that will be one of the main items in the boxes, but that's the only clue as to contents I will give.
So, the proposal. Once 10 people sign up for this, at $12 apiece via Paypal, I will send out 10 Medium Flat Rate Boxes of Crap. What I envision is, 10 people sign up, pay by Paypal (using the payment for goods, so that their address is attached to the order--and of course Paypal collects their fee, which is why the price is more that just the flat rate box) and I print out all the labels. I will then have my lovely assistant (wife) affix the labels to the (well-packed, as per normal SOP) boxes at random. Then I will call the mailman for pickup, as they will do for Priority mail.
I envision having at least a couple of really good items in these, but everyone WILL get their money's worth. I think it will be fun!
U.S. ONLY.
OK, so I have 5 subscribers and this is now open to the general AA member base. I'd prefer people with a track record of a few posts or those whom I have dealt with in the past, so I do reserve the right to deny a box of crap to someone who requests one as their first post. Other than that, first 5 are in. Boxes are packed and ready to go! Post in this thread if you want and I will add to the list. hoping to get these out on Monday, Tuesday at the latest. Once I get 10, I will send my Paypal info to everyone on the list. Payment is expected promptly, and we thank you for your support. (*clink* bottles of Bartles & James.)

I also have boxes and boxes. I like them nice and worn in myself, with smooth action and good button response. Some of the ones that looks the nicest are all stiff and harder to use in my opinion. Look nice in a picture though, which is why I often will bundle those with a system "looks like new!" and keep the ones with bite marks or whatever (but smooth, smooth response) on them for myself.
I don't like the new 3rd-party ones at all, blech. Feel free to PM me if you want, I do have a few available and I am sure other people here do as well. Any of us could give a better deal than what you're going to get on eBay.

Added an SC1224 that does not work. Save it today!

I like having them loose. Takes up less room, and I like how they all look stacked up in my Music Mates. This is what I dreamed of as a kid and now I have it. I never had dreams of boxed games.

I think it sounds neat. As I read the topic it sounded like you were actually going to make the PHYSICAL cart (i.e., the plastic housing) different, not just the binary. But I see no reason to not do both. Sure you can put a different "limited edition" number on each cart/label, but why not MELT it in or something? That would be pretty cool.

Those aren't old...
My Nokia 3650, now THAT's old!

I don't often write this on a message board (in fact, this may be the first time) but ...

YOU just made my day. PM sent.
I'm looking to buy lots of CX40s. Yes, Monkey Labs is doing something. No, I won't tell you what it is.
Any non-working but cosmetically sound CX40s need apply!
Or working but crappy ones are fine, too, just ones that aren't in pristine shape preferred. Thanks! -
Cool beans! Still looking forward to it!

Somewhat better? It's SWEEEET! They added lots of new stuff as well, totally slick. Netflix was on my 2nd page of channels and I wanted it on the first, had to Google for how to move it, here is how in case anyone else needs to know. I just wish my Wii was not having trouble reading discs.

1. Turn on your Nintendo Wii and go to the menu
2. Find the channel that you want to move
3. Point at the channel you want to move and hold A + B
4. While holding down A + B drag the channel to where ever you want to put it.
5. If you want to move it to a different page while holding down A + B, hover the channel over the + or - button on the sides of the screen. This will take you to the next/previous page.

No games, but I scored a Marantz 2220 receiver for $20 which is an insanely good deal. Quality vintage audio piece!

Gone in boxes of crap!

I never even put the games in with it, was just trying to sell the system solo. Did not realize that they are very much not in demand!
