Cuttle Cart 3 an Intellivision Must Have
phaxda replied to GrizzLee's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Not to complicate things, but perhaps 2 versions could be offered? Maybe sell the bare board with no case for your price point of $150 and sell a finished product with case, installed chip, and a neato/nice label for $200? I think a lot of people would pay more to get a nice finished product, especially is they were made as unique serial-number exclusives kinda deal. Like it or not, these carts tend to become rare and hold their value well; even more so if they are of the "limited edition" variety. I would likely buy this product in either case and would likely pay extra for a spiffy special cart. I was lucky enough to get a used CC2 used after they had sold out and I absolutely love it. Thanks for all the work you do and good luck with the CC3, no matter what happens! -
The evidence would seem to be against him. He sells boards of other games as well: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=150061382526

Good idea for getting rid of some old carts!

Hi Paul, Good to see another compact Mac lover! Let me know if you are looking for more machines; I am thinning my herd. I pack well!

What's sad is that I don't think some of the scores will wipe off anymore, even if I do beat them! The tradition started when I lived in an apartment house with a basement and put the 2600 down there for everyone to use. We had a massive Yars' Revenge battle going on for quite awhile and everyone would post their scores on the board. Now that I am old and practically married, it's just my personal scores. I'm a bigger dork, because I think that's badass. You're that sure you'll top the score everytime, you can't afford to even waste paper putting a score down.

I am such a dork, I have a whiteboard.

I just thought other eBay aficionados might like this forum thread. I personally found it hilarious because it has it all--an item that can readily be purchased NEW instead of on eBay, excessive shipping claims, a whiny buyer, bitchy email correspondence, etc... And all this over an Etch-a-Sketch! http://board.lemmingtrail.com/t.php?id=33027&r=103

you be the judge - Possible duplicate account for what purpose?
phaxda replied to thevnaguy's topic in Auction Central
I've had this exact same thing happen with the same seller/buyer (we've had numerous transactions; he seems to dig my auctions) and never thought it suspicious or whatever. Just uses different accounts for different things. No biggie. -
Questions about my Defend Atlantis contest display stand?
phaxda replied to homerwannabee's topic in Atari 2600
I wish I'd seen this topic sooner--I would have recognized the 96 as complete (signatures of 16 or 32) as well. Still a very cool item; I wouldn't be terribly bummed about this. -
Roughly how much is your video game collection worth?
phaxda replied to Rhindle The Red's topic in Poll Forum
I'm going to go with around $2,500, max. Really need to get renter's insurance. -
Bumping this, eBay auctions end tomorrow, no bids so far and very few watchers. Everything should go dirt cheap! I just want it gooone...
-
My offer is still open; PM me.

Agh, just missed the Klax. Hadn't seen this thread before. One of my favorites as well.

Flight joysticks with 5200-like connectors FS, more!
phaxda replied to phaxda's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
I had no idea that was the same as the 5200 controller connection, being a mostly Mac guy and all. So, I guess they are just PC joysticks? Buck apiece? -
Big cleaning weekend! See my other post for 2600 carts for sale before I put them on eBay. I found these sticks, which someone gave me a long time ago because they have 5200-type connectors (but they are not for 5200). They look like flight-sim type sticks. What else has that kind of connector? Make an offer. I am getting ready to ship Albert a huge box of R1 commons, but will sell them for cash instead of AA credit if anyone is interested (need cash now). I kept a a Star Raiders cart out of that shipment so I could offer it with keypad and overlay. Also have numerous R2-3 Sears text label games--let me know what you are looking for! Iomega "Ditto Max" backup drive kinda thing for PC. Like a Zip drive on steroids, with a 7 GB disk in it and a 400 MB extra disk. Serial connection. Don't have a serial computer anymore. Apple Silentype printer. There is a guy selling one for $75 on eBay, but that seems a bit high? I have no idea. Has paper in it, no Apple // to test it on. Heavy, offered locally on CL but make an offer if interested. Just trying to make my office usable again... p

All of these are going on eBay, unless people here want them. PM offers--especially if you're interested in the whole lot. I really just want these outta here at this point. Heading to Vegas; need poker bankroll. I also have some auctions up on eBay already--nothing spectacular, but things will probably go cheap. Yes, my pic skills are nonexistent! The blue labels are Keystone Kapers, Ghostbusters, and Chopper Command. The silver Spectravideo is Tapeworm. Thanks!

I didn't mean to either, sorry CPU. I was writing that message as you responded, apparently. My apologies for any perceived offense--I can remove my post if you'd like. Note that it was made a mere minute after the OP confirmed a sale with you. I even edited my post to tell him you'd give him a good deal--I'm not sure what the problem is here? For what it's worth, no one has contacted me regarding my offer--I just had this Wico/5200 lot that I was preparing to put on eBay so thought I would put it out there.
-
Not for that price, I won't ship outta the states. Google "Wico 5200" and you'll find a picture of one--it's just an arcade stick. PM me if you're interested and I'll give you a shipping quote.
-
I can sell you one with a stock controller (working keypad, stick needs work) and a Wico stick for $50, shipped. I'll throw in a few common carts too, if you need'em. 2-port, I think. I'll have to check it to make sure. PM me if this sounds ok. The Wico is the bulk of that price--if you just want the console, I can go way cheaper. Damn, that CPU is quick! You'll do fine with whatever he has!

Taking offers on items in my Atari collection
phaxda replied to the 5th ghost's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Yeah, well we all know who's selling that one without even looking at it... -
so...thoughts on the next meet?
phaxda replied to kisrael's topic in New England Classic Gaming (NECG)
This sounds excellent--really hope to make the next one! -
I have "-1 New Messages"!
