That looks simply incredible. How/what did you print them on/with--it's really a nice printing job! The colors are spot-on. WOW~! Here is a couple of pictures of what I have so far. I think this was a great contribution and I can't wait to finish the cases fo my carts. I am about half way there, but I am having trouble downloading the rest of the inserts. I have decided to purge all text label carts from my collection. I just don't have the room to collect variations and I like the artwork more than that boring text stuff. I think one important thing is the actually look of the PC itself. For instance, I like to play my Atari on a huge console TV in a room of wall-to-wall carpeting to get that complete retrro feel. Likewise, when it comes to PC games and emulation, I like to play the classics on an older machine, perhaps something that was a little ahead of its time, design-wise, but still looks kinda old-school. I like the old Sony Vaio destops; I currently have a Vaio PCV-LX 800 that doesn't take up a lot of room (it came with a flatscreen, ahead of its time) and it looks nice next to the rest of my retro-stuff even though it's not THAT old.

It's Andy Roddick! #1 American tennis player. I believe it's Sharapova in the "pretty" ad. The U.S. open tennis tournament starts tomorrow, and that's why there are so many commercials. I'll be watching. It's a good ad; they've been playing during the golf coverage. Yes, I watch golf.

I'm just going to step up to the plate here and say that I LOVE Dreadnaught Factor. It is seriously one of my favorites for the system. Sure, it may not be the most pretty or mission-diverse offering, but I have a lot of fun at it. There's also NO way this is a $50 game. IMHO "beep4me" usually charges far too much and hopes to get lucky. More power to'em if they get the asking price, but I usually think it's extremely inflated.

I know, I know! That's the difference between me and these guys. I take the time to smell the flowers, to let my fish lazily flap a fin in the seaweed, to bob in the current, watch the sharks go by. Zen out for a bit. Take a chill, cool the jets, get mellow. You know how it is. These high scorers, they are all about action and speed. More power to'em, but that's not how I roll.

Holy cow! That is an amazing score! I play this game all the time and have never even come close to that. Congrats, that is really something. And you did it pretty fast, too! I spend a lot of time just swimming around.

Funny defender is getting talked about here. I discovered the other day, quite by accident, that my Williams Arcade disk for the PS2 actually has interviews and histories of the games on it. I thought one of the best interviews was the one about Defender. Really cool stuff! I was so psyched to discover this material on that disk. (I've been playing Robotron on it, even though the control scheme stinks.)

I have one in the box that I couldn't sell for $20--figured it was worth holding on to for the time being.

I didn't care about it in any game...except Defender. It just drove me completely nuts and I was so happy that I had 1 5200 to play it on.

Mine load from tape with no problem--I have an awesome old tape recorder that I use--it has matching woodgrain! These games are some of the best available. See this thread for some other options, if you don't want to use a tape player. I was going to post this in the 5200 forum, but it seems appropriate here as well--I cannot believe the prices that Masterplay Interfaces are going for. I spent well over double the $36 or so that the last few have gone for. Ugh. They are now cheaper than a Redemption from AA!

Holy deflation. I can't believe that Masterplay went so cheap, not to mention the boxed Zenji...holy cow. Some people got some great deals.
