Your post made me look, there are youtube videos of the device, one is by Bill on the site here who is in the atgames thread and he did a video just of the list of games it has, then did a link in that to a general hardware review. Others I dug up from ashens among others seem to show you have an unmarked reality of some having 128 (despite listing 300 on the box) and 300. They're not the same, even if you exclude all the sub-homebrew level garbage they padded the 300 with, there are more on it and differences. The games are seemingly all Famicom releases, not much english unless it was there already. There does not appear to be anything PAL related and likely not US based either unless there was a game on there Japan never got we did.
Yea I have been watching the youtube reviews. Some of them are hilarious. Most only show a few games though. It would be nice to an exhaustive list and a few comments for each game.
BTW I found a few more I really liked ..the PacMan is really good and Star Gate is really nice Defender clone also LoadRunner 2 same as first one but different levels.

Today I got my Blue Bittboy for $25.99 at www.bittboy.com. The sale seems over now I see back to $35.99 price.
Anyway has anyone documented all the games with a brief description if game is homebrew, mod of original NES game, Japanese version of ... etc. Also if they actually work as say the Harry Potter montronsity is clearly has mangled graphics making it unplayable. Overall I'm very happy but only played a few of them so far ...Super Mario, Contra 24 in 1, Donkey Kong and Lode Runner are really nice.
I'm not really that familiar with many of NES games though I certainly know most of the most popular ones in the US.

Take a look at the MIST it outputs in VGA and runs all the way up to AGA games.
So do all the hardware cores work smooth with MIST or are most still pretty glitchy ? I'm mostly in the Amiga cores but I'm sure I would dabble a bit with those cores.

After some more digging I think I'm just going to use the Amiga emulator with my Raspberry Pie 3. The consensus on Armiga is not so good UAE emulation on outdated Arm A20 dual core .. Cubieboard 2 board.

I just have a few questions as I'm looking to get an Armiga instead of blowing a few grand on an older Amiga with Vampire board.
1) Is anyone in the US using an Armiga?
2) Is anyone using a simple EU to US Travel power plug converter as the FAQ states just need Travel Charger EU to US Plug Adapter. I just would like to confirm.
3) Will the 720p 50Hz HDMI work with most US TVs and or monitors as I believe most US TV and monitor video is 60Hz ?
4) Any other compatibility issues I should know about ?
5) Any comments on the emulation quality as reviews I have seen mixed reviews.

If you're a fan of Bruce Lee (NOT an underrated gem, obviously), then I highly recommend the homebrew Bruce Lee II. It really does wonderful things with the concept.
That is one great homebrew. It's so close to the original it's amazing. I only very small nitpick. I miss having the explosions on the ground so you can kick you opponent into!

Taco sauce packets maybe?

Oh yea I've been working on Infiltrator... man this is a hard game. I even broke down and watched the full play hoping I could pick up on some tips.

The posted thumbnail was enough for me to not even give them a click.
You're smarter than me.

Linux Taco Bell has a video, too.
Not sure which would be my punishment in hell, but it's a toss-up between this and "Get That Money" by J Fontaine aka Chris Cardillo the Coleco-working, GI Joe collecting scion of a NJ window installation empire.
Wow that some of the most vile horseshit I have ever tried to watch. About halfway through I had to stop and go to the toilet as I had the urge to puke!

Frankly, the entire original data set should be public domain by now.
Well they're already basically public domain for personal use. Only technically they're copyrighted.

I live in a large metropolitan area, so there are plenty of internet options,
although it's more like just the major providers control everything.
Huh that makes no sense. If you are any major metro area you have choices. Oh course the major players control home internet access. They are no small companies offering fiber or cable service because it is a very huge inital cost to deploy fiber or cable to many homes. Duh!
The people without options are those in extremely rural areas with only phone or satellite options.. those are people who don't options.

Well I ordered t it a few days ago. The free shipping from China is 15-24 days!

Sim? It's roleplaying being a ghost buster, you drive, money manage, buy supplies, bust ghosts, etc.
I never could get past that damn tower
I guess youd right marsh mallow man and either end, or restart? You need to have more money than you started. A few blocks destroyed by the Marshmallow man makes it impossible to have more money than one started with.

Simulation as you are simulating being a Ghostbuster... though Action is a much better description.

$50-$60K, if you put a little work in it.
Oh that's far too much money for Atari SA to spend. They would look to license an Atari based taco truck and take 20% of the revenue to put the Atari fuji logo on the truck and on the taco wrappers.

Interesting thought. I've always been comfortable discussing all aspects of the videogame and computer industries. ROMs, grey market products, etc., are all in play, and there's a lot of nuance in those areas beyond good/verboten. It would seem silly to ignore such things, particularly ones that take the form of retail products. In any case, AtGames is well aware of my independent activities and never had a problem with it (in fact, just the opposite). I'm clear when I represent AtGames and I'm clear when I represent myself as a journalist or gamer (and similarly in my day jobs). I guess that's been one of the many advantages of using my real name for the past few decades or so online--clarity.
Makes sense. Thanks. Very glad to have you as an active contributor here.

It's integrated graphics. And no one likes integrated graphics.
Speak for yourself. I like integrated graphics as they are cheaper on the consumer and generally better tested with the implemented CPU and chipsets.

Let's try to be more polite, shall we? Keep the discussion civil or we'll have to start blocking people from it.
I used the term stupid because he used the term to describe criticism of the Atari SA stock and asked why it is relevant to his post. We already know the poster is here only to promote Atati SA propaganda and shows no actual interest in retro gaming, so in my mind harsh comments from a troll will be dealt with harsher comments. I don't consider a polite response is appropriate.

They were for sale on amazon ...are you suggesting he should turn himself in for receiving stolen goods or something?
Amazon will sell anything that will move volume. It takes a written legal threat from lawyer(s) to get Amazon to remove a pirate product.
ATGames might not be thrilled to see Bittboy videos right next to AtGames videos .. at Bill's Youtube and Armchairarcade web site.
-
And what does this have to do with my post about stocks?
Everything because Sony is an established company with a quality track record and Atari SA is as you say "Just Stupid". Are you too stupid to see the connection to your stock comment ?

Bittboy handheld games list and description ?
in Emulation

Oh there is also Defender II which definitely is a different game as the ship are slightly different and gameplay with Defender II is harder than Star Gate.
Anyway it's a very nice unit. If you wait awhile and check back I bet bittboy will have a sale. I recall them also having a 2 for $55 sale awhile back.
I certainly would not leave it in the car during summer. I will basically use mine on my train commute (about an hour each way). I'll also have to look for extra long USB cable for my car so my son can play in the car. Only bad thing the Bittboy and AtGames Atari Flashback Portable use different USB ports for charging (mini USB and other micro USB)
