Trying to understand the source on Github but you've only posted the 2600 core, where is the rest. As far as the F18A it may be the way it is interfacing with the Colecovision.

Unfortunately 7, 8 and 9 have nothing to do with George Lucas or his ideas. 7 was an almost 1 to 1 ripoff from Star Wars, renamed to A New Hope. 8, was a continuation of getting rid of the old characters...some say so Disney doesn't have to pay for merchandising licenses and a portion of the profits. 9 will be much of the same. I am astounded that people are watching what has amounted to dribble surrounded by special effects. Then when you get to the bottom line it amounts to preaching instead of great story telling. So much so Disney is losing a bundle to the tune of 30 Billion in franchises alone that Bob Iger used 80 Billion in assets to back up. Marvel, Star Wars, The Muppets, Fox Films, Avatar.... Now that they lost Spiderman back to Sony that just screwed their plans for the Marvel Universe when they tried to promote Captain Marvel. Marvel comics is on the verge of bankruptcy according to insiders because of all this SJW crap they promoted over great characters and story telling. Galaxy Edge is also a tremendous flop at both parks. I am not passing judgement but repeating what is already over the net. So with all that said..Episode 9 is already not even worth a pirated download.

Someone knows.... Opening and cleaning some old cartridges you can have 1 rom, 2 roms and 3 roms. I get it 8, 16, 24..... None of these original carts/roms have any extra chips or capacitors. However when I see peoples new designs like the ones I bought online have a chip. A SN74HC21N Dual 4 input Gate Why is this necessary for a single 32k chip? I am just trying to understand. Let me ask a child would and say why can't you just connect the address lines directly through the card edge connector like the originals.

You could always make a game for the MSX and it may end up in the Opcodes store. You might not get royalties though... BaaaZing!

Followup to my debacle. The guy will take it back and issue a full refund but refuses to pay for the return shipping. So in essence I would have to pay out of pocket around $30 to ship this back just to get 20 of the $50 I spent on the thing and also not have it. I implore that NONE of you buy from this guy if he decides to sell more Nostalgia merchandise. The guy could have taken 5 seconds to grab an old VCR box and 20 cents worth of bubble wrap but decided to turn some Christmas Wrapping paper inside out and ship it for as cheaply as possible. I can't make a claim against Fed Ex so basically I am SOL as far as restoring and resell value because people buy these things for completeness and condition and that hole can make or break a sale to a serious collector.

I can somewhat believe in Superhero's as long as they are contained within the movie. However, when I see some secret agent chick that is 4'11 and 95 lbs beating up a 200 pound 6 foot stuntman that is when I've had enough. Princess Leia was smart, witty and beautiful. If you grew up in my era there were plenty of strong women characters and I don't mean Maud. MAME uses AD 31 rev a 09-27-84 BIOS Mine uses AD 31 rev a 10-11-84 BIOS Aside from date I see no difference but I have yet to do a byte compare and am lazy to do so anyway. I see that both are Revision A, Checksum AD 31....just that they have different dates which could always be the date it was burned. It is a 4k Hitachi HN462732G Eprom Other than that, nothing new. Time to recover the 6801 internal controller code. Lets see if I can. UPDATE---------- Fought the laziness and checked the code. they match byte for byte so it's just the date. Being as I can screw with the BIOS I am trying to think up something that hasn't been done before but I don't see anything. I think I'll just hook to an Arduino and see what happens.

I did everything according to the schematics and uploaded the INO to my MEGA 2560. I get nothing but 1 quick flash and then red with a failure 64k $1 in my serial shell. ALL of my 4164's act this way. I have no 100% positive 4164 chips to check to see if it is the tester or I was taken for a ride by a Chinese distributor that gets 100% ratings on EBAY.
