  1. Thanks a lot for the comment. Don't hesitate to suscribe to the channel.

I am going to work on modifications on the first generation of consoles in the first generation (between 1972 and the first Atari Pong Console in 1975 with a pong chip). So we are talking about consoles with logic circuits and discret components. I ve already worked on the Magnavox Odyssey, but i want to work on the Zanussi Ping O tronic, the Philips TeleSpiel (i will have one soon), the Overkal (too rare ?) and maybe early odysseys, like the 100....There is also 1 or 2 british early consoles that could interest me, but they seem really rare. If you got one or informations about, just contact me.

To answer to your question, there is some solutions :

    1) Do like me, make a cable the same way that on the video. It will be a bit a bit ugly but it works.

    2) Modify the original beige odyssey cable with a rca on one side (not a good idea, it's really rare). Others Odysseys console (100, 200, etc...), seems to have the same cable, but they are rare too.

    3) Find an early odyssey 2. As you can see on this video, the early Odyssey 2 cable is perfect, cause it's the good one on one side, and it seems rca on other (so no modification needed), and you can change for a more regular rf cable (like in the video), so the odyssey 2 will be still usable.

    4) find a connector that fit and solder a rca cable to it. I didn't find that at the moment, but i tryed some power supply connectors for laptops... And i think it's something to dig.

  2. Hello Everybody.

I made an av modification on the Magnavox Odyssey 1.

This is the final result :

I made a bigger video with more Explanations (schematics and more informations in the video description), before.

But i made a small mystake, the net was too thin (just a question of tuning, i solved that after...).

    It's not destructive and reversible.

    Hope you will enjoy. ;-) ;-) ;-)
