  1. Hmmm, I'll double-check the controllers in port 2 when I have issues. Zylon, how did you fix the loose port?
  2. See this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YWq0DnZWtnA He replaced the port, but I should do what he does at the end, right? I'll add solder to those points.
  3. I keep getting glitches when playing on my 5200. It isn't the controllers and it happens with all the controllers and sometimes it is the firing, sometimes the keypad, etc. It is always with controller port one. Having read through several threads, I think I need to re-solder my controller port. This make sense. I use my 5200 more than any other system and I change from stock stick to trackball to 3rd party controllers. I want to make sure I do this correctly. I need to take the 5200 apart, flip it over, and then add solder to all the solder points on the back. I need to not let solder point touch each other. I know I sound really basic, but I want to make sure I am doing this correctly. Have any of you done this, did it work? I am fine with soldering and basic Atari repairs, but I make sure to know exactly what I need to do. Thanks for the advice.
  4. 11153, the 5200 trackball is one of the best if not the best controller of the pre-crash era
  5. 10,013 Skill level is fine for me, but I'm usually at the bottom of the scores .
  6. Come on Cmart, be a hero! Do you really have a Harmony and a System Changer? Before I go buying a changer, I'd like to see if it works with the Harmony.
  7. It does seem like it should, but I wish someone could test it. These things have their quirks :-).
  8. Does the Harmony 2600 Flash Cart work on the Intellivision System Changer? Are there any issues with this set-up? Thanks for the replies!
  9. Ugh, I knew there was an issue. I remember reading about it somewhere awhile back. It's the sound. I like the Adam with A/V, so this won't work well for me. Thanks for the answers!
  10. Tempest, that's what I am planning. I want to use the Harmony on the Adam .
  11. I'm sure the answer is on here somewhere, but I couldn't find it. Does the Expansion Module #1 for the Colecovision also work on the Adam (letting you play Atari 2600 cartridges via the Adam)? I assume it does because it has the port for it. Does it work well? Does it take advantage of the A/V of the Adam? Take care.
  12. 5600 points, I have the coupler, but only one stock stick. This gives me a reason to get another one . Better: 15,225
  13. Yes, I bought a one button from you. I was ready to mod this one, and then I thought, hmmm, I should test it first, just in case it already is 2 button :-).
  14. I bought an adaptor off Ebay specifically to do this mod. I have had three in the past (all one button) and I end up trading or selling them in the hopes of getting a two-button. Well, the one I got ($33 buy it now) to mod is a two-button model :-).
  15. Is anyone going to this? It a little over 3 hours from me. I'm debating it. It starts this Friday.
  16. 21,550 Once you get the shooting and driving mechanics down, it's a fun and unique game
  17. Thanks so much e5Frog, I'll follow up.
  18. My Harmony cart is naked :-(. Is anyone willing to make me a label and I'll pay you? I tried printing and cutting, but it looks terrible. Can you buy an extra original one? I looked on the site and there is no way to contact anybody, just to buy it. Any help appreciated, thanks.
  19. Yup, that's a pretty common mod (and a good one). I have a similar one, but just one arcade button. The trackball is pretty easy to disassemble, I'd check it out. By the way, it is a qball in there, so you can replace it if needed: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/198408-is-the-5200-trackball-just-a-cue-ball/
