  1. Thanks NE146 and Zero for the suggestions. I think I will check out Final Fight and Ninja Five-O. I enjoy playing games like Black Belt and Captain Silver on the SMS and I wanted some side scrollers like this for my GBA. These games are both relaxing and take out aggression at the same time -- great after work for mindless fun! I also think I'll pass on Gauntlet DL. The arcade game is great, but the reviews for the GB version are not good. Anyone play it?? Take care, RG
  2. I just got the Sega Smash pack for my Gameboy Advance. I got it for Golden Axe and I was not disappointed. I love this type of game. I can pick it up and mindlessly hack and slash my way around and not worry about complicated battle systems or building characters, etc. I was trying to think of other games in this genre that I would enjoy. I thought of Gauntlet Dark Legacy and Super Ghosts and Goblins. What do you think about these? Any other suggestions (doesn't need to be dungeon themed - although that is best . I read a review at the video critic and he liked the new Pirates of the Caribbean game (anyone else try this yet)?
  3. I am interested in this post as it applies to the Dreamcast. I love the lightgun games for their simplicity and I am looking for Guantlet Legends because it seems to be a good ol' hack and slash adventure. Any other ideas?
  4. I have been interested in those. I bid on one on Ebay about a year ago that eventually went for $63 I believe. I even posted on the DP board about them and got a reply and a PM. I talked to two people that have one and/or had one and sold one and both said that they are for collectors only i.e. they are not very practical or functional. I'm thus not inclined to spend big bucks on them. Good luck!
  5. It is definitely for the Apple and too much effort to modify.
  6. NES games and Atari 5200 seem to be in much better shape on average whenever I find them. Colecovision carts, on the other hand, seem to take a beating with those black labels that always are rubbed. Odyssey2 carts seem to hold up well as do INTV carts. Just my observations . . .
  7. The bundle is going to Oesii - congrats. and glad to see it staying in Florida . Take care, RG
  8. Oesii - check your mailbox! -- RG
  9. Everything is $75 (this INCLUDES shipping and insurance). The lot has been cleaned and tested. It works great and includes a lightgun, two controllers (one 3 button and one 6 button), a cord extender, and a 4 controller input. All needed power supplies and cords, etc. are included. The unit(s) are in nice shape. I cleaned them, but if I bought this I would go over it with a toothbrush and add some Armor-All because it has the potential to really shine. I accept Paypal, money order or check. I'm on the honest trader list here at AtariAge. First to PM me gets it! Take care, RG
  10. Markimus -- I also posted pver on the DP board and quickly found out that it is like you said - a pretty good find ($75-125). The game isn't bad and Spidey is actually easier to control than other Spiderman games I have played (Spiderman games seem to me to often have control problems because of the web-crawling action). However, the graphics are just OK and it doesn't seem like it being a 32X cart means much in that I have seen graphically better regular Genesis games. Well - not a typical rare cart that stinks at gameplay, but not worth it to buy unless you are a collector.
  11. VidGameKing -- I was just kidding, but it would be nice . -RG
  12. Why don't you pack it all up and bring it to Georgia and have the sale from there  .
  13. I had a successful weekend looking for games. I first found a 2600 Submarine Commander yesterday which I knew I didn't have, but I didn't know was a rarity six. Today on our Sunday drive, we stopped and I bought a Sega Genesis with a 32x (everything was clean, set-up, and working) and 5 boxed games. It cost me $40, but I knew the game I wanted and she wouldn't sell it alone. The Spidey cart is mint (looks unused) with manual and game catalog and it is boxed in a good box (not mint, but very nice). I'm happy and I had to brag. I know this cart is pretty rare, but I also know 32X games aren't exactly big collectibles. I couldn't find the game on Ebay. Any ideas about its worth?
  14. Congrats. to BTHOTU! Sega CDs will be shipping out to you!
  15. Hello all, I took a long nap so I'll be up for awhile tonight. I have two bids at $40. I'll be at the computer for the rest of the evening. I'm going to e-mail back the two tied bidders and ask for highest offer and then one of them wins it. Thanks for the bids! -- RG
  16. I just got home and I got a bid for $35. To be fair, I will let the original bidder or anyone else have a chance to respond. I am going to take a nap and when I get up in an hour I will go ahead and declare a winner. Sweet dreams! -- RG
  17. I will end this at 4:30pm this afternoon. The bidding is at $30 (includes shipping). Any other offers! Take care, RG
  18. Sega CD CD BackUp Ram Cart (loose) with nice label. First person to PM me that can Paypal me $20 gets it shipped. Take care, RG

  20. My table is overflowing with flea market finds and my wife wants to see through the window again so ... tomorrow I will Ebay some of it. However, I wanted to see if anybody here wants a shot at a few items first. 29 Sega CD games: all are loose in a new Case Logic holder I bought and all are clean, tested, and look great. Honestly, these were well taken care of games! The games are: I prefer Paypal but will accept check or money order. E-mail me your offers by tomorrow afternoon (If I don't get a fair offer I will be putting this on Ebay). I am on the honest traders listing here at AtariAge. Take care, RangerG
  21. Hey MMF -- Fossilized dung is FAR more valuable than the Phantom. Check it out: http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/20...2_dinodung.html
  22. That always is sad to hear, but I have learned that the # the person threw away or the # in the box they have in the attic is usually exaggerated. Also, they probably were picked over by somebody so don't let the what ifs get to you
  23. MMF -- I knew that I had been saving all the good label semi-rare NES carts I find for a reason. I sent you two pictures of the possible trade items, but I realize now that the pictures are huge. Sorry about that, but at least you will be able to inspect every scratch  Take care, RangerG
