I like the games and system from a collectors view point but I sure wouldn't tell someone I like to go out and get one for all the games they missed out on. If Analogue does a Analogue Megadrive I would be extremely disappointed if 32x wasn't included but I wouldn't be on here saying no one should buy it cause they are missing out on the best port of Virtua Fighter.

What kind of monster would make an FPGA console of the Supergrafx and leave out the CD attachment?! I'd love a PC Engine core but I can't see that system being popular enough for a stand alone console. Who knows though. 10 years ago I would never have thought retro gaming would be where it is today. If we are dreaming here I would love a PC-FX FPGA. The barrier for entry on that system is insane

It's amazing how much people talk about the 32X these days considering how few decent games are on it. The hardware itself is more popular than any game released on it and I think people just like the idea of the 32x and the spectacle it offers by latching on to the Genesis. You may as well be asking for an FPGA verison of the SuperGrafx. Neat but not a lot of practical value

Thank you for the advice. I'm using the 10" braided micro usb cable that is packed in with the Xbox Elite controllers. They are braided and a personal favorite for wired controllers. They only run about $7 off eBay so I can highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality solution.

Dang the power cord is short. It's just a micro USB cable so i recommend leaving it in the box and using your own. The system itself is great. I enjoyed the scanlines on the Nt Mini but for whatever reason I am finding the no scanlines option my preference on the Super NT.

I haven't received a shipping notification but UPS is showing a package from WEBGISTIX/TECHNICOLOR to be delivered on Thursday the 8th. Pretty darn fast

I think he is confused and guessing at the third party firmware. Some kind of assumption because the NT Mini firmware exists.

Nintendo 64 prices better on Ebay than Craigslist?
Shadowgate replied to azure's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Here in northern California it's pretty unbearable. People hear this stuff is worth money so their stuff must be worth a fortune. Sometimes they go as far as to quote me the prices they find on ebay for unsold best match listings. I tried doing the whole mission to civilize thing for the experience. Trying to explain I'm not paying ebay prices when I can use ebay promotions, have it delivered to my door, and be guaranteed to work. Many of these people don't even know how to hook these old systems up to their newer TV so they are hitting me with top dollar for dusty stuff that worked 15 years ago till I threw it in my attic. It fails most of the time. No one wants to be civilized. They take it personally that you're denying their copy of sonic for the Genesis with "Billy" in permanent marker isn't worth $25. Had it go right a few times. Always with stoners. I had 2 that sat down with me and we made a deal. Anything I was interested in we would check recent sold listings on ebay and cut 50% off the base price. I was specifically interested in each item so it was great. This latest guy on Craigslist has an entire game room of stuff. He doesn't seem to want to sell but the girlfriend says they need money. So they refuse to let me buy lots, only pick and choose. They fish for games I might like then they look up ebay prices. I just stuck to telling them selling on ebay is no cake walk. I'll probably get some more stuff off them when they really need money. They want to take advantage of me through ebay prices and I'm using the poverty line to give em a little nudge in my direction. What a world That's my top tip. Know your stuff and negotiate in person. They won't be able to depend on researching every item and the cash in face technique works. You'll likely never see these people again. Try your techniques and always be willing to walk away. -
Don't Ask eBay Sellers Questions!
Shadowgate replied to CrazyChris's topic in Classic Console Discussion
Glad to know I am not the only one who gets their questions glossed over. I think it's reflex of responding to questions on phones. They barely read your questions and just use auto corrected responses. Some sellers even block people who ask questions. I've had it done to me a few times. The reason given is that the question askers are generally the same people who open disputes. The people who turn ebay into a career also tend to be the most aggressive. I guess if you expose yourself to that 24/7 it just becomes another job they hate. That whole, "This job would be great if it wasn't for all the people." feeling. I don't sell full time so I guess I still tolerate it okay. Even the ones who ask too many questions that I already have answered in the description. I'm just happy they if they do it before buying. Phones and other browsers actually hide the description unless they manually go to it. Ask away I also don't mind the where did you get this kind of questions. I certainly get curious when buying and I've had some pretty crazy stories told to me about the history of the item I am bidding on. Retro games especially are more interesting with a back story. Not to mention I'd much rather buy someones personal collection that has been babied the last 20 years than some crusty game the seller found while dumpster diving.
