For an instant, just an instant, I read it as -- I lived in that car my whole life. :,(

A friend was going to buy a new Malibu -- a higher trim, but I guess the local Chevy dealer was a douche nozzle so he went to the local Buick dealer and bought a new Buick Regal instead. Same platform/size, powertrain, but it has a longer warranty, better materials, nicer ride. A mid trim Regal is a couple grand cheaper than a high end Malibu and it has the same equipment with better materials and styling. We rented a Buick on a recent vacation, and even though I am only in my mid 40's...

I enjoyed the car. It was nice. I think a lot of people avoid Buicks out of the "that's a grandma's car!" vibe, but Buick is the divison that made the Grand National and GNX which could outrun a Corvette in the 1980s.
